We had the crew out here for two projects; 1. prep/install sod and a new sprinkler system, 2. install a new drainage system and connect to an existing sub pump to avoid pooling of water in one area of our yard. We couldn't be happier with the results. Mike was very responsive to any questions and his crew was on-time, tidy, and made sure they were aligned with our overall project vision. The quote was fair and they did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. We will definitely be using them again in the future!“

“We were finally going to get our backyard remodeled. We received proposals from many paver and pool contractors. We selected TPG because their owner, Brian Schmidt, spent much time with us. He submitted a plan (drawing) and could do the entire project, including the pool. He admitted being more expensive and made up for that with quality and attention to detail. Our project needed a lot of that.Then the project began and we met the tradesmen. TPG have had the same crew for over 10 years and they are family. This means a lot. The quality of the work shined through. We now have an exotic backyard that sheens day or night. What we have today is because of Brian. He had a vision that went far beyond any of his competitors. “John was so great to work with. We have a small neighborhood pool that had 2 long stretches of dirt. John worked with me for months (and was patient throughout all the changes and waiting) and was so helpful and flexible with our requests. I had plan to go with another turf company but after talking with John, he convinced me that he was the better choice. The quality of grass they use requires less maintenance, the company allows you to recycle the grass at the end of it's life, and his method of laying down the grass seemed superior to the other vendors I met with. Overall, we are so happy with our choice. He installed the grass within a few days once we set up the start date. I highly recommend Blades of Glory.“

“UPDATE TWO MONTHS LATER:Stunningly stinky. Started only one month after install. Literally breathtaking. Been working with PG for a month to get it under control and learned the install was done without proper drainage (was told they didn't have the drainage items then, but now they do. Not sure why it was allowed to be installed without). Am being sent additional quote for "drainage tiles and labor" for uninstall and proper reinstall... stay tuned for a full review. As it stands, deck is unusable and my doors/windows and neighbors doors/windows have to stay closed. For reference, we have one small dog and one medium. Looking forward to being able to double down on original glowing recommendation soon, as all of the people are very nice, but the issue is still unresolved.--------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:We needed a place for the dogs to play (and stuff) that could withstand the coastal elements as well as the pet factor (this is real, folks... don't just lay Wayfare grass and call it a day. I did that and once the temp reached 60 or above, you could really smell what was goin' on, not gonna lie). Drake listened to our needs, made sure we got the best products for our, uh, "situation", (which included sand and deodorizing things that if you have pets, cannot be skimped upon) came out within days of our call, and had it installed within the week. I feel like our house just expanded 300 square feet to a more indoor/outdoor vibe, and we all spend so much more time out on the deck smelling nothing but the ocean breezes. A big win, and Drake is the best! I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for another install, should we choose to expand to the back one day. Another big positive is that if there were any odor issues later, they'll come replace it for free. That's a pretty sweet smelling guarantee.“
“Giovanni and his crew were awesome! I too was referred by Encinal Nursery from a friend that works there. We completely remodeled our front yard for greater space for our kids and pandemic socializing as well as our tropical themed backyard. Everything turned out better than expected. Despite the other reviews of his lack of communication, my experience with Gio and his crew was the opposite. He was super professional, very communicative, honest and very flexible in changing the initial plan design up and the most articulate landscaper I probably know; really knowledgeable of the plant world and knowing what plants to plant, where in terms of light & watering schedule. He has a pretty robust turnkey maintenance, upkeep program afterwards to keep my yard looking brand new. He's super busy for a reason! We've gotten several compliments on our yard and asked who did our remodel. I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to remodel their yard.“
