“This review is for Ibrahim, our favorite groomer! My shih tzu has anxiety and gets nervous around strangers and dogs so he was freaking out when I brought him in for a grooming appt. His scheduled groomer Lauren refused to accept him and while she was rescheduling, Ibrahim offered to take my boy in and asked me to come back in 2 hours. When we came back, Ibrahim approached my dog VERY gently and took his time making him relaxed. My dog became SO comfortable in like 2 mins and went quietly and happily with Ibrahim! After 1.5hrs, my dog came out to be exactly the way I wanted him to be! Ibrahim also consulted with me before and after the appt-- my ideal haircut/style, feedback on how my dog was around other dogs and his coworkers, what he did, etc. Honestly such a nice, patient, and skilled groomer. We'll be coming back here just for him!“

“I can't say enough good things about Stefani and her team. I have an older rescue who used to be scared of half the dogs she met, scared of men and didn't feel comfortable playing with other dogs. Stefani's team has helped her learn to trust (both dogs and men) and play with other dogs! She's such a different dog than she was 2-3 year ago and I credit a lot of that to Tefani & So and the socialization / love they have shown her. My dog loves going to 'camp' and I know they treat her well based on how she RUNS to them every time they pick her up.<br><br>I also do all grooming with Tefani & So; it's a consistent groom every time.<br><br>I travel a lot for work and Stefani is adaptable with my schedule, as it changes often. Knowing that my dog is safe with her and Stefani will adjust with our schedule has been such a help to me post-pandemic. And the pick up / drop off service makes this a no-brainer for me.<br><br>Highly, highly recommend!“

“We had a wonderful experience today and will definitely work with shine mobile grooming again! We have a goldendoodle but like him cut short. Most groomers never listen to what we ask and give a typical teddy bear cut. This was a much better experience and we got exactly what we asked for.“

I love their bulk treat section and doggie apparel. The groomers there are wonderful with my senior pup and it's nice to stock up on treats after he's all done.“

“Tomo is such a sweet lady! I believe she's the only one that works there but she was so gentle and quick with my kitty. We were in and out in like 5 minutes! I called in advance to book an appointment because she doesn't allow walk-ins. It's cash only and feline trimming was only $20. My kitty is 3 years old and squirms so much and flees when I try to trim her nails. I've tried to get her into a burrito but she frees herself and runs away. It's been a struggle. Tomo told me to hold my kitty and caress her head while Tomo trimmed her nails. I was so surprised about how quick and easy it was! I'm so glad I found this local grooming spot. I recommend everyone with pets who need grooming needs to visit here!“

“Maju is great! My family has known her for a while but this is the first time she's ever groomed our dogs. Our white Shih-Tzu is old and blind but she still did a bang up job on him. Same goes for our brown mutt. She was on time, easy to talk to, patient, and finished both our dogs in just under 3 hours! Would definitely recommend!“

“VIP grooming has always done a great job with our small dog. We had a few bad experiences with other groomers before landing with VIP and we've stayed with them for years. Prices are reasonable by SF standards, and they're easy to communicate with and work with. They book out quite a ways in advance so you need to plan ahead a bit.“

“The BEST keeps getting better! 5 Stars for taking great care of my furry friend for 7 days. My dog isn't the most social and he came home getting along better with his dog park friends! Puppy Love kept me updated with pictures of my dog everyday and when he came home he was happy and well exercised. Great group of people caring for the dogs and very professsional. “Deborah has been grooming my dog for several years now and has always been excellent. She has many many years of experience and it shows in her work and care. I first sought her out because I needed someone skilled in handstripping -- a skill that most commercial groomers don't have. Furthermore, my dog is quite anxious and does not do well in a loud commercial setting. She is able to handle my dog's peculiarities and accommodates his needs by grooming him at-home and with me present. I highly recommend her if your dog requires more attention because of their temperament or anxiety -- she will know how to handle them with care.“

“Tried this place for the first time. I have to say, I was impressed. My dog is a husky and blue heeler mix. She has been groomed before and very well mannered. However, she sheds like crazy. There were lots of positives for this visit, which I am listing below.<br><br>1. They come to you. This is so incredible with the growing gas prices! That and if your dog is anything like mine, it helps lessen the anxieties when they know they are close to home.<br><br>2. De-shedding is part of the package for her breed. For fur parents with shepherd or husky mix... this is a huge treat! Usually, we have to pay more for this service.<br><br>3. Leonardo was very courteous, respectful, and good at listening. This is so important when we are trying to get the best care for our pups.<br><br>4. Prices are SUPER! Their prices are very competitive. My dog is about 55 lbs and about 24" for reference. We paid $175 (without tip) for her, AND we got the VIP treatment. This included her bath, de-shedding, facial, teeth, ears, gland expression (I requested this), and a bandana. I always wanted a bandana for my dog.<br><br>There was only one downside, and even then, it was my error more than theirs.<br><br>The website was fairly easy to use. It's not all intuitive because I am new and wasn't sure of the difference of East Bay and whatnot. Regardless, the appointment was easily booked, and the person arrived on time.<br><br>I hope this helps other people make a decision for this business. It is really good and can definitely be beneficial for home bodies or people with disabilities, like me.“

“Reynaldo and his assistants are great. Mudpuppy over in Castro was refusing to style-cut my 17yo toy poodle, claiming it "stresses her out." Reynaldo is a dog whisperer and seems to have a great bond with dogs. He's able to do the French poodle cut with no problem, so I started coming here. The price here is also a bit cheaper than MP, which is nice. The best part about coming here? You get to hang out for a bit with a dozen other well-behaved, sweet dogs. I kind of want to ask him if it's cool that I buy coffee and hang out here to do work. You know how there's cat cafes? This place is like the dog cafe version of that!“

“I was a little surprised when I texted yesterday to find out availability for a dog groom and they said they could take Sydney today at 11am. Most places are a month or more so I was in shock. She was way overdue so I jumped on the appointment. Upon arrival there was one dog there, I think for daycare. The friendly young man who greeted us listened to my instructions and quoted a price of $130 plus $10 for mats (she’s 22 lbs, mini Aussiedoodle). I received a text and phone call 2.5 hours later saying she was done. She looked great, no mats, cut was exactly as I specified. Price was $140. I will definitely be back! Their credit card machine wasn’t working so I used Venmo, they also accept cash.“
