“Recently discovered this pilates studio and it didn’t disappoint. Deborah and Romana held wonderful classes and paid close attention to form, making sure you don’t get injured or risk hurting a present injury in the process. The studio had a very calming energy. The only thing I would mention is book your classes in advance as there are only 5 reformers for the group classes. Would recommend!“
“I don't know why it took me so long to write a review but here we go. When I first came to Movement, I had been struggling with lower back pain for TWO YEARS. The back pain didn't just reside in my back- it also went down to my left thigh and foot too. I had tried everything from acupuncture, chiropractor, and home stretching but nothing worked and I thought I just had to live like this for the rest of my life. Then one day one of my friends who also struggled with back pain told me that she took one on one classes at Movement and it changed her life and she literally wrote an essay telling me why I need to do it too. I was happy for her but I honestly didn't have high hopes for me but at that point I was down to try anything. I went to my first class and they told me to tell them all the places I had pain and they did an overall assessment of my posture. That began my journey at Movement. I really don't remember at what point this happened but after taking like 20 classes, one day, I noticed that my back pain was gone :O It was literally a miracle. After two years of feeling hopeless over sciatica pain, Pilates cured me. I took one on one classes with lots of different instructors and they were all great but I want to give a special shoutout to my main instructor, Sungeun. She is soooooo passionate about making sure her students are actually benefiting from her classes so she makes sureeeeee that your form is perrrfect. She also stretched me out a lot but do not be fooled by the word, "stretch," and think stretching is no big deal. I would literally scream during class cause those stretches were so painful cause I have zero flexibility but no pain no gain I guess because I'm sooo certain that those stretches are one of the biggest reasons I can say I am pain free today. She is tough on you but in the best way possible! Sungeun 쌤 if you're reading this, you're the best If any of you are struggling with back pain I cannot recommend this place more. I have brought like five friends to this place because I wouldn't stop talking about this it and all my friends loved it too! Yes, the one on one classes are a bit pricey, however, I would rather pay to keep myself healthy now than pay tens of thousands of dollars for back surgery later in the future. If you are on the fence about going here and you're reading my review please do yourself a favor and sign up!!!“

“I attended the Reformer Foundations class with Aaliyah as the instructor, and it was a fantastic foundations class getting used to the reformer. The class size was 7 people, which is very ideal in order for the instructor to help the students with proper form, placement, and cater to the student's individual needs. Aaliyah was very helpful to me and led a great class! I experienced a refreshing work out that also challenged my body in a positive way. The studio is very clean and well-kept. Towards the end of class, the instructor hands out individual cleaning wipes to sanitize the equipments used. I highly recommend this studio and to anyone interested in doing Pilates.“

She has great knowledge in human anatomy that she always explains and points out what muscles should be working for each motion. Her class is not only for exercise. It also helps me to understand my body condition and improve body alignment, which is the original purpose of pilates.“

After my follow up appointment with my doctor he then recommended Pelvic Health Physical Therapy which I had never heard of. I started looking online to see what Pelvic Therapy was and how it is treated. I found Sarton Physical Therapy and I am glad I did. “Best decision of my life was to come to VIP. I was tempted to try the work out camps that have popped up all over the city and Facebook/Instagram. However I opted for VIP because it offers a more personal one on one training. Erwin is a true professional in every sense of the word. Got to know me asked me questions and set up a plan. He is very patient and educates me as I work out on why I should avoid certain habits or foods and how to be a healthier person overall. Some of the things he has shared just resonate and when I'm trying at home it's like a light bulb moment, like aha! this is why! Erwin is a top notch trainer, not like the ones you see taking pics and posting selfies and videos while they're "training." Prices are reasonable for the excellent service and attention you get!. “I came here to give pilates another go, and BeFit is a big level up compared to club pilates. They aren't kidding when they say you're going to shake because I was dying lol. I've felt new muscles I've never used before. It's a full 45-min low-impact body workout with a big focus on core and glutes. Lots of static holds, dynamic movements, and pulses all back to back. It will take you a couple of times to understand the mechanics, but it's a pretty fun process if you really want to improve core strength. I've done weightlifting, yoga, cycling, and now I can cross Pilates off my list too. Thanks to gabby for being clear and concise throughout class!“

Despite the seemingly simple movements, she has a knack for setting your muscles on fire with her strategic repetition. “I love my RA yoga family. I’ve taken most of all the regular teachers and they’re all great and their own beautiful way! I’ve been at this studio for about two years and have tried other places, but nothing compares to the welcoming family like environment I feel at this studio. I am challenged to build mental and physical strength in every class. There’s always a class to suit my needs for how I feel that day physically and mentally. “My Sports medicine doctor, Myra Trevellas, MD recommended I take therapy at California therapy solutions about two months ago... I was diagnosed with left hip issues... Bursitis, a tear in my gluteus, medias tendon, a tear in my labrum, and arthritis I was initially interviewed and evaluated by Dr. Victor Koo, PT, DPT who was welcoming, intelligent, communicative, and gave me a general overview of what the plan of action would be. Every employee from Dr. Victor to the physical therapist, Assistance, and the physical therapy aides were knowledgeable, thorough, and kind Every part of my therapy was explained to me, gave me an example of the particular movement or exercise, and observed and corrected my actions when necessary“
