“Arthur fantastic! A modern day MacGyver. I hired Arthur to install a 30-lb chandelier and 8 LED recessed lights. We ran into electrical issues with both. While these were out of scope of the project, Arthur was determined to complete the job and complete it correctly. He fixed the electrical issue with the chandelier, and replaced the housing / cans for the recessed lights. He even went to Home Depot with me to select them and asked the associates there to give me a discount as well. Arthur has redefined customer services. No matter how long it took, he was determined to get it done and get it done correctly and safely. He even pointed out risk areas to review later as well. He also had all the tools required on hand so there was no issue he wasn't prepared for. Finally, he was incredibly polite, and respectful of the home ensuring he was keeping the work areas clear of debris. I'll be hiring Arthur again soon! Did I mention he does plumbing, wood working, etc.!?!“

“This review is long overdue, but Sam built three redwood gates with fencing for me a couple years back and I was, and still am, very happy with the results. The existing rotten (and termite infested) gates and a fence on a block wall were removed and new gates and fencing were installed with the design being simple, functional, and termite resistant due to the redwood construction. The cost was reasonable and installation was done within the agreed time period with good communication between us. After a few years the gates still function perfectly and the finish and construction have held up nicely.Sam also removed a termite infested balcony railing and built and painted a new redwood railing that was exactly what I wanted and showed great attention to detail. Like the gates and fencing, it is holding up very nicely.If you desire new fencing or gates then I think you would be happy with Sam. I have every intention of turning to Sam when I have new projects.“

“Vince from Atticare come to my home to inspect my Attic, he spent a good amount of time going thought all my insulation, wiring, ducks, etc etc, Vince found some issues that needs addressing but also noted a gas leak. He repaired the gas leak. After his inspection, he went over the issues found and what needs to be done to fix/repair my issues. Vince was very easy to talk with, was extremely helpful. I will for sure recommend Atticare and Vince and will hire them again if needed.“

“Paul is a nice guy and cares about finding affordable solutions to help you with whatever is going on at your home. He's done a whole bunch of jobs for me: - electrical switch install - GFCI outlet install - fixing doors that weren't aligned to doorways - install new locks in doors He is capable, responsive, shows up when he says he will and will help you figure out the best way to approach your problem. My only criticism of Paul is that he is sometimes a little distractable. He'll notice problems you didn't ask him to address and start working on them. Sometimes this is good. (He actually found a bunch of water damage that had been being missed during a water restoration project at my home and saved me the headache of dealing with worse mold problems down the road.) Sometimes, it's kind of annoying when you just want him to get done the job you hired him for, and he's working on an hourly rate and he spends time on things you never asked him to address. I think if you give him 1 clear job at a time though, Paul is excellent and very affordable.“
