“Dr. Ishigo helped my eye feel better! I had strong eye irritation and I asked if I could be seen with very short notice before the weekend. The team was welcoming upon arrival and quickly took me to the doctor's office. Dr. Ishigo was able to identify an eye lash stuck in my lower eye lid. She took out the eye lash that was deeply embedded in my eyelid and also made sure that no further eye damage was done. The irritation is now gone! Feeling grateful for her and her team for their timely, kind, and effective care.“

“Great job, everyone! First of all, who still remembers to post a review 2 months later? This one… someone who still recognizes the excellent customer service at this location. I’ve put a lot of years into retail as a seller and in CS, and I don’t think I’ve ever been in a place as a customer where so many of the associates go above and beyond! The attention to detail, affability, patience, professionalism, humanity, and knowledge at this location are off the charts. I know America’s Best is a chain, but these people make it feel like a mom and pop—said in the best way possible. Michael is on it, and on it with a smile! He was very patient with me as he taught my 40yo self how to put in contact lenses. Dr. Huynh was personable, clear and precise. Jessica and Emily also know exactly how to balance being attentive on the job req side with also being easy to work with, and just genuine, good people. I’m stocked up on lenses, glasses, and sunglasses for now, but I really hope they’ll be there when I’m ready to renew my prescription. It’s so true what they say in sales… the people make it. “Made an appointment to modern eye optometry from the beginning the receptionist was very friendly and answered all my questions,The Dr. was extremely nice, love the experience. Their equipment is very updated I would recommend ,only thing I can say was a negative for me was that the restroom was not working I had to go to the restaurant next-door to use it so I hope they can fix that little issue but other than that it was great.“

“BEST EYE DOCTOR I was looking for an eye doctor as I have not seen one since we moved to Long Beach. I was basing my choice on location and reviews. Lakewood Optometry had some of the highest reviews and, as a bonus, it is only three minutes from my house. I am so glad that we went with this option because the service was exceptional. They were very patient and understanding with my fiancé and me, despite our constant reschedules due to our busy schedules. Once we arrived to our appointment. the service was exceptional. Dr. Kara Takeda was awesome and thoroughly explained the eye exam and my results to me, patiently answering all my questions.
