Top notch instructors and a wonderful community of kids and parents. Our son started in Ms. Dawn’s class at 3 years old and he always has a blast. He is nearly 5 now and Ms. Dawn and West Coast have helped him so much with his confidence, gross motor skills and of course, dancing! Highly recommend this studio and the wonderful Ms. Dawn.

We have been a part of the West Coast School of the Arts (WCSA) family for 8+ years, and it has been a wonderful experience all around. We started when our girls were four years old, and since that time, not only have they grown as dancers, but more importantly as people. Under the direction of Ms. Paula Kessinger, West Coast offers as much or as little as you'd like for your dancer, from Princess Dance Camp to recreational classes to competition teams. The friendships they have built with teammates are so strong, giving them a group of peers they can depend on for a lifetime. The instructors at West Coast do so much more than teach dance. They also teach poise and build a foundation of confidence, grace, and humility. Whether you're looking for a toe-dip into dance or a full fledged dance education, West Coast School of the Arts has a program for your child. Ms. Paula has seen the children of her graduating dancers return to WC, continuing the tradition of dance. This is a true testament to her influence on the lives she touches as an educator and as a mentor. I highly recommend West Coast School of the Arts!

This is my daughter's second season at West Coast. We are so incredibly glad we made the switch. The environment is so welcoming. Which is difficult to find in competitive dance. The families welcomed us in with open arms, the dancers support each other and the teachers support each other. I believe this starts from the top down with the ownership and management. Paula is extremely hands on with the teachers, students and families. And it shows. She doesn't care just about their dancing but cares about their character as an individual. The quality of the teaching staff is exceptional; with the primary focus on technique. But they continue to grow and expand their teaching and choreography styles. They treat the kids as the individuals they are and unify them as a team as well. In the current COVID-19 environment everything has been moved online. The entire staff has been energetic and motivating. They have provided a sense of stability in an unstable environment for our kids. Every week the teachers take time with each kid just to check in and see how they are doing. If you want a positive, creative and safe environment for your child to experience dance than I would recommend West Coast.
