“I’ve been doing yoga for about 15 yrs now and try to go when traveling in US and internationally. Some great studios out there but this is still my favorite which is great because I live locally. While slightly different approaches all the teachers are consistent with their intensity and high energy.It’s Susan’s studio so she has the following and her classes during the week are usually 6 / 8 / 9:15 am weekdays and 8 / 9:15 am weekends. Heather probably has the second biggest following and does body sculpt on Tue and Thu at noon with other power yoga classes throughout the week. Obviously refer to actual schedule but like I said all the teachers are consistent.Some things to note:* Since moving 100 ft to other side of the complex the studio is intentionally much warmer. Its power flow, not bikram, but as hot as bikram. Bring a towel and drink a lot of water even if you think you don’t sweat* Not important but interesting compared to other studios I’ve been to but 30-50%+ of the classes are made up of males. Not sure what that says but it is interesting.* Might be the only studio that has a strong following from the students and athletes from the local high schools for the 6 am and weekend classes. I don’t think I would attend a 6 am anything when I was in high school* if you are going on a holiday, especially major holidays (thanksgiving eve / day, xmas eve / day, etc.) get there early as the space fills up.* there are no bells or bowls that make ringing sounds. Studio is high energy and so is the music.Anyway, great studio with great teachers who are super welcoming no matter your level. They just want you there.Not sure why it took me so long to post ?“

This place is very special to me as it’s a space where I can truly unplug after a long day of work and leave feeling rejuvenated. “I had been working with Connor for 1-2 weeks when I got an MRI result telling me I had a torn labrum, with bursitis in my rotator cuff. I had very limited range of motion, not being able to hold my arm over my head or do a lateral raise without pain. I am a tennis player, and I hadn’t served in nearly two months. However over the following 5-6 weeks Connor worked very frequently with me to get my shoulder back on track. In that stretch Connor’s commitment and dedication to getting me healthy again showed in numerous ways. He would meet me as early as I needed, and would even get out on the tennis court early in the morning with me. I saw results very quickly. I first regained my strength, and then certain movements became less painful until ultimately it felt resolved. Connor is hyper analytical and has an answer for everything. He knows when to push and when to back off. He will give you extensive reports of your sessions and overall shows a sense of care, passion, commitment, and diligence that is extremely rare. “The Pad is a great studio! I like it because it is close to my house, parking is relatively easy and they offer many different classes everyday. I feel like post-covid, many yoga studios only offer a couple of classes a day and I appreciate having more options. It is a very calm and relaxing environment and folks of all levels are welcomed and challenged. The teachers range from very good to really freakin' awesome - there are a couple who clearly know their stuff and have a lot of experience to share.“

“Erika is the BEST teacher!! She is professional and kind and skilled. This is the first type of exercise that has not hurt me after many injuries in my life. I visited the studio a few more times and found that the cleanliness improved - maybe because i went during a busy time and people were walking around the bathroom with shoes on so light floor looked dirty!! On another note, I like the teachers at this studio a lot. I took a morning class with Gerianna last week and I was the only person who showed up at first. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all and was still excited to teach. I really appreciated that! Two other people joined later so it felt less awkward, but overall it was a great class. Recognized that I was a bit harsh in my first review so wanted to update this. :)“
“Julia Lorimer Yoga Center of Marin 518 A Tamalpais Dr Corte Madera, CA 94925 5.0 star ratings 6/5/2022 It gives me great pleasure to write to people interested in yoga. I think that Julia Lorimer is the best yoga instructor in the SF Bay Area. Her knowledge base is very broad and comprehensive. Yet for yoga class, all you need to do is listen carefully when she directs your body. I started a few years ago and I wasn't seeing results for over a year. The pandemic got in the way until we used Zoom. Julia gives us links to her classes. I made a point f taking her yoga class from a linked class and started a new yoga schedule, taking it at least 3's a week. My body transformed. I was so amazed that I developed "yoga butt." I am now stronger than ever. Julia has the amazing ability to combine her deep knowledge of a few schools of yoga, her deep understanding of kinesthetics, anatomy, physiology, and yoga poses that she brilliantly even sometimes invents. I have been in dance class since I was four. I have taken a ton of yoga classes all over the bay area and online. I will not take a class if it is not taught by Julia. One must attend class on a regular basis and once in class, just listen quietly and Julia will take you on the most exquisite yoga journey that will transform your body in an hour and a half. It is with the greatest pleasure that I urge you to participate in the best yoga workout you have ever experienced as you grow to understand your own body's strengths and limitations that will only expand if you remain rigorous with your practice.
