He was extremely professional, hard working and dependable. Each day he showed up with a smile on his face ready to tackle the work ahead. He worked tirelessly to have it done in time for the weekend and as promised he delivered. Based on his professional experience we trusted him and he did not disappoint. “We used BLC for a home remodel which included a kitchen and dining room renovation. There was a good amount of engineering work used in changing the roofline to create more ceiling space for our main living room. BLC lead in every aspect of the building project and did so with great care and communication. Entrusting someone with the care of your home is a vulnerable place to be and Bill understood this to a very high level. Every aspect of the project had a high quality to it and his advice was always helpful in making decisions. We are very happy with the results of working with Bill and BLC Custom Homes. Hiring contractors is never an enjoyable process but Bill is a special find in this environment. “Update 2: I wanted to update this review and my rating. I've had 2 minor parts of my system fail. The first occasion turnkey noticed it before I did and immediately sprung into action to get it resolved. The second occasion I noticed it first, but all it took was 1 email and everything else was handled. Not only that, their technician who came out most recently didn't just replace the broken part, he checked over the entire system. They have definitely proven they are willing to put in the work to support their existing customers, and I'm upping my review to 4 stars because of it. At this point I would feel comfortable recommending turnkey as a solar provider to friends and family. I'll leave my original review below for contextI've spent nearly 40,000 dollars on a solar system that has never been properly setup.I've been tossed around between several account managers and they all refuse to help. It's been over 40 days since reaching out to them and they are trying to act like there isn't even a problem even after acknowledging and failing to fix the problem they now pretend doesn't exist.It's sad I have to badmouth them publicly but after numerous attempts at warning them I would do this, and being ignored, I have no other option.So if you are considering turnkey for your solar needs, don't! It was a mistake, I should have gone with literally anyone else.Update: Turnkey has actually fixed the problem I had. For that they get exactly 1 more star. Why? Because I warned them a week before I posted this originally that I would be doing this, and was met with complete apathy. They didn't care until I came here to complain.Where was the concern weeks ago when I was told the earliest appointment wouldn't be for weeks? Somehow after this review got posted they got someone out within a day. Weeks of strongly worded emails that were barely addressed yet I finally got a phone call from my account manager after this post. They didn't even hide the fact that it was this post that drove their efforts because they asked me to update my review here as well.I will admit that I'm happy my system is working, and I'm happy with the quality of equipment that was selected. But overall my experience with turnkey is 2 stars. Given the years ahead of us hopefully they will have other opportunities to repair the damage to their relationship with me.“
