From the start, Evelyn was communicative and ready to help me figure out what to do with my hair and make-up. We had a trial run a few weeks before the wedding and I wasn’t crazy about my first style and she very quickly came up with an alternative and redid it on the spot and I loved it. She was patient, kind and fun to chat with, which is very nice when you’re spending so much time with someone working right in your face. Several of my bridesmaids and maid of honor got their hair and make-up done as well and her colleague Karissa who came to help out also did amazing work. “I was looking through pages and pages of yelp until I came across Rainbow Joli. The designs were so cute so I booked an appt. I don't normally get my nails done so I wasn't looking forward to having to sit through 2.5 hours. Luckily, time flew by with Ellie. She was very kind and gave suggestions on what kind of design to go with my dresses. 2.5 hours went by really fast especially when you have good company! I will be returning for my second time next week :).“

It’s absolutely life changing to wake up in makeup. Then I said, you know what, I’m all in. I need eyeshadow to complete the look. And I don’t mean I wanted a little subtle color added my lids. No, I said I wanted a dramatic multi-dimensional multi-color look. Four-color contouring style with the inner eye corner highlighting too. You know, the look achieved by following a 25-minute YouTube tutorial, a look that rivals the girls who work at Sephora. I want to wake up in full-blown makeup like that.
