“I noticed my rabbit had something red appearing on his left hock so I needed to get that checked out and also get him vaccinated. Luckily, I found Chaparral's business card at a rabbit rescue I frequent and was very pleased with the attention he recieved.
I was told it doesn't appear to be sore hocks, it was just a callus, thank goodness!
Any questions you may have will also be answered during the examination and I thought the prices were fair for the services done (exam + vaccine).

When your fur baby is in their final stages of life it takes a special kind of doctor to meet the family in the moment. I've been to other vet doctors who have treated their patients as a number but not Dr. Hill. He has a special gift and we are fortunate to have found him. I’ve seen a few reviews of people complaining about Country Animal Clinic…
I understand people are scared when their pets get sick… it’s scary! And most pets, unlike humans. Pets don’t usually have insurance to cover cost.. and cost can add even more frustration to the situation… and when you’re familiar is sick, and emotions are running high… sometimes the cost is the only way people have to vent all of these emotions… that is a very human emotion!
Please remember our pets are not human and sometimes they do need the same treatments as humans such as antibiotics, x-rays ,clinical cost and sometimes surgery …ECT
These veterinary costs can sometimes mirror the same cost that we pay as humans when we go to the hospital or doctors office…Of course cost reflect size and weight and animals are smaller and weigh less so the cost is less.
That does not mean that it won’t be costly!
For me, it’s a fair trade off… and I always keep in mind that the clinic itself has an overhead that they have to pay for their equipment, surgical needs, employees and Dr/surgeon overhead…Ect…
Hey, I spent five years in bed while having my feet and legs reconstructed… every night when I went to bed, I had my cat looking up into my eyes, letting me know he was there, and he never left my side! Every morning when I woke up he was there to help me through another day!
Why would I not give him the same compassionate care when he is in need?
In my opinion, if it comes down to a checkbook…
Whether or not, this amazing creature gets the care he deserves…. Well for me the answer lies in compassion and love.
The amazing people at Country Animal Clinic helped me through everything! I was not price gouged! I was treated with respect! And my Cat was treated with kindness and love!
I recommend Country Animal Clinic to everybody! Remember, respect gets respect!

“Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our family pet last week and I must say this was handled with tremendous sensitivity, professionalism and kindness. 10 out of 10 service for such a sad time. The staff here and the doctor that stayed with us were just phenomenal.“

“If I could give more stars I would! I called many other vets trying to get my dog seen who I believe was having a seizure at the time. My primary vet wouldn't see her until 2 days later, another one wanted $1000 or I can drop her off and they will get to her when they could (disgusting by the way!). I called This vet and explained what was happening, they didn't hesitate and told me to bring her in. within 5mins of getting their the staff took her back. Another 5 mins later I was in a room with the doctor checking my dog. The main doctor was super friendly and caring, she took her time to explain everything that was happening and reassured me that my pet was going to be ok. I am so thankful I found this place and I have already decided I am making this hospital my new primary vet! I cannot recommend this office enough! Wonderful staff! “Such a small but comforting place. Had to visit because my puppy ate a grape. They are appointment only and helped us out. I was concerned as how my puppy would act but he loved the vet and got comfortable quickly. We got blood tests, medication, even special food all at the location. Definitely making this our puppy's Vet.“

“We love this place! My dog suffers from lots of anxiety from having gotten hit by a car many years ago. He ended up needing emergency surgery at another vet. He developed ptsd and learned/ memorized the road that leads to that vets office, so whenever we'd take him for vaccines or anything he needed he'd be so scared that his acepromazine sedation wouldn't work. Every single time we'd end up having to pay for a shot of extra sedation! My husband and I decided that we had to switch vets just to see if that would help him & so we ended up at Via Verde Animal Hospital. The staff and doctors are amazing! Somehow Osito is much more calm than at his other vets office. He's still snappy but he's much more manageable and allows them to take care of him with just his regular prescription sedative. I'm absolutely shocked! I too also had developed anxiety when we'd go to the vet bc of how anxious and scared he would get.. but not anymore! He wags his tail for the staff and doctors and is slowly learning they're friends. Recently my pup had bladder stone surgery and a teeth cleaning all under anesthesia and at the same time at Via Verde Animal Hospital. They did such a good job! During our 2 week follow up to remove staples and sutures I had some concerns bc his stomach was upset and he would vomit. They took a free of charge xray and examined him just to make sure he was fine. (They truly care) They reassured me after his xray that everything looked good and showed me the xray results as well. They felt confidant that the antibiotics most likely irritated his stomach and gave me medicine for him. A week later Osito is all better! Thank you guys for taking such good care of my little guy. Dr. Kumar is the best Vet I've ever met. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't try to suggest unnecessary exams. We will not go anywhere else! I 1,000% recommend Via Verde Animal hospital for all your pets needs from vaccines, surgery and teeth cleaning. Not to mention they use a special laser that promotes faster healing with all their surgery's and even with the teeth cleanings. My little guy gradually was back in action from his big surgery within a few days. Thank you guys! Also special shout out to Myra she gets stuck holding Osito a lot of the times bc he's so anxious. The care is genuine here. You guys have a heart of Gold and it shows From the receptionist, techs and Doctors.“
