Rarely have I worked with the one who possessed the knowledge, expertise, and ability to properly diagnose and treat my underlying issues. I worked with Dr. Allison McKay. Working with the respiratory team after a diagnosis of asthma and COPD with increasing shortness of breath, I was able to improve my breathing function and get back to hiking and all the activities I love to do. The entire team was a treat to work with, but the respiratory therapist Stephen was particularly helpful (and patient) in helping me understand how my respiratory issues impact breathing, as well as training me in techniques to improve and manage the disease going forward. Anyone suffering from asthma or COPD where the disease is compromising their lifestyle should definitely take advantage of this extraordinary facility.“
“I suffered a fairly serious shoulder injury while skiing last February (2022). I could barely move my arm due to pain/stiffness. MRI showed moderate damage to rotator cuff and surrounding tissue. Post surgery, after ~four weeks in a sling, I could barely raise my arm - extremely limited range of motion and significant loss of muscle strength. I was concerned that I would never fully recover the use of my arm, which is a problem for a very active person. After ~four months of PT with Jordan at Select Physical Therapy, I was just released with almost 100% of my prior range of motion and a noticeable increase in muscle strength to the point where I have returned to my normal active lifestyle. Jordan is a very capable, thoughtful, and well educated Physical Therapist who is largely responsible for my quick recovery from a fairly serious injury. His plan of care was progressive, well coordinated with my doctor's orders, and tailored to my exact needs. I am extremely satisfied with the level of care that I received, and would recommend others with sports injuries to consider Select Physical Therapy (and ask for Jordan).“
