When my friends bring a new family member home, I tell them to go straight to PCAH Bixby Knolls because they have the best care in the area. What I love about this place is the no hidden costs! The doctor makes an estimate for you to let you know what the cost of each procedure is going to be. If certain procedures aren't in your current budget, you can talk to the doctor about next steps. It's great knowing how much everything is going to cost before you have to blindly swipe your credit card. Shout out to Dr. Dani Gonzalez for the awesome care for Bonbon! “Dr. Lily Chen is the best!! Very happy that she has been our integrative vet this year. My Lulu has been in remission with IMHA since last summer of 2023. We found Dr. Chen and her amazing skills with integrative medicine. She has been monitoring/recommending plant based diet and supplements and working alongside with ur internal medicine veterinarian. She just was tested today and passed with flying colors. Our internal medicine vet told us that whatever we have been doing with Lulu's diet and supplements keep going! So happy for my Lu and happy with our internal med doc and very happy with Dr. Chen and her practice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me care for my Lulu in her golden years!“

“What a wonderful vet! My little dog was having a respiratory problem and itching and licking. Dr. Antoun saw him after a full day of patients and really examined and took care of my little guy. “I had a great experience! The vet I go to close to home couldn't figure out my pet problem after I mentioned her issue. I told my friend at work my frustrations of my pets discomfort and pain. I decided to take his recommendation and Dr Johnson found the root of the problem completely different from what I thought it could be! My dog had surgery and is in such better state. No more infection and pain for my doggo fox Pomeranian. Yes I spent a pretty penny for surgery but honestly I am so glad she is okay! that's all that matters ... “I can't say enough about the amazing team at BARC. My senior French Bulldog Kirby goes for physical therapy and acupuncture and they have provided top notch care. She recently had an IVDD flare up and bounced right back which I believe is due to the care she has received during preventative PT and accupuncture sessions. It's amazing to see my dog getting bursts of puppy energy due to the program here. Everyone on staff is always so perceptive to the pets' needs as they evolve. The entire team is also simply wonderful, caring, and kind. They have created a very positive environment. Thank you BARC!“

“I truly didn't have high expectations, and considered this vet something like a VCA chain. I took my puppy in due to an exam needed and an issue with her dewclaw. Her vet has been in LA since I got her but it's too much of a drive I've done for small things she's needed, so this place was a great distance from me and I kept getting emails to try them from Petco so we gave them a chance. Making an appointment was super easy, all done online. We may have gotten super lucky, because the vet technician and the vet himself were awesome like 5 stars just for their service alone; I've seen some bad reviews and personally I don't like this Petco location at all. The self serve treats are covered in spiderwebs and half the staff has an issue 24/7, to name a few issues. This led me to not expect much from this hospital attached to them. Experiencing the care that our sweet vet technician and Dr. Collins provided, was refreshing and so rare in todays society. They made my girl feel so comfortable, and myself as well. I was so nervous as to what she needed upon discovering the injury to her dewclaw, as well as what the bill would look like. Due to privacy concerns and not wanting to possibly get anyone in trouble, all I can say is that they went above and beyond to help us. They showed us grace and I can't thank them enough for doing everything possible to help me with this visit. My girl left the vet completely unphased with a smile on her face and some antibiotics. I do want to and NEED to comment on the way Dr. Collins assessed everything I brought up. I went to another vet previous to this one and she completely disregarded my concern, which Dr. Collins emphasized and confirmed WAS/IS a real issue and prescribed a solution to! The other vet made me feel I was overreacting and Dr. Collins provided some relief by explaining what was happening to my dog and what was needed. This is a doctor I felt so comfortable leaving in control of my dogs health. I greatly appreciate this and look forward to bringing her back to see him again. If you need to see a vet and are concerned about care and cost, try giving Vetco a chance. A small, local, hospital that really cares about your pet and has professionals ready to help.“

“I switched my cats to her homemade diet and my extra grumpy 9 year old cat is much happier. She's had the zoomies and playing more than usual. I realize now that the commercial food was the issue and I think she just had stomach problems. No more occasional diarrhea and the litter boxes smell much better now. And because I was feeding a higher quality wet food diet to 3 cats, it was extremely expensive and this is about 75% cheaper in cost.“
