“I have taken 3 generations of pets to Dr.Evans at All Pets Veterinary Hospital. Infact I started using All Pets when Dr. Robert Moore owned All Pets in the mid-'80's! I really got a great feeling from Dr. Moore as I did from his assistant , Dr. Evans. That's why I decided to stay on when Dr. Moore sold his smallish practice to Dr. Lisanne Evans. By then my two rescued cats, both American short hair, were just beginning their lives 3,000 miles away from home in Brooklyn Heights. Eros, the older of the two was a 20lb.marmalade colored cat and his younger brother, Plato a light beige short hair, were both around 10-9 yrs old. Eros the easier of the two had developed diabetes which required getting his ketones by peeing on a stick 2x's a day. A little later on Plato developed kidney problems and had to get fluids twice a day by sticking him with a fairly large needle 1-2x's a weekly. This require a lot of education which All Pets certainly gave us and some handholding from Dr. Evans and her staff. Both cats lived to be over 20 yrs. old. Not in s part due to the great care we all received at All Pets. Our second generation that All Pets cared for was my very first dog!! Chelsea was a funny, soulful and strong willed Puggle. Chelsea was smart as a whip. Loved when we entertained, very social and together we explored the hills of Palos Verdes. When Chelsea turned 8 she was diagnosed with a life threatening blood disease. Dr. Evans tried everything she could think to do. We found a wholistic veterinary online who had some experience with this disease. Dr. Evans encouraged us prop follow up with this wholistic treatment which cured Chelsea of life threatening anemia. We had our Chelsea with use until she was 13 yrs. old. It was hard to let Chelsea go. I held her in my arms as she took her last breath. We all cried including Dr. Evans. 6 yrs ago we adopted Buddy from the Harbor Rescue Center. Buddy is as much my savior as I am his. I had just received a jolting diagnosis myself and could no longer explore outdoors as Chelsea and I did. Buddy doesn't require long up hill walks. He is a more of a lap dog and is content to be with me around the house! He is my Buddy!“

“Fantastic Care for our Puppy We recently brought our 8-week-old Australian Shepherd, Diesel, to Garfield Animal Hospital, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We had to switch vets due to the long drive to our previous one, and we're so glad we did! From the moment we called to make a last-minute appointment, the staff was super accommodating and friendly. When we arrived, they welcomed us right away and got Diesel weighed and settled in quickly. The vet and her team were incredible--so patient and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain all of Diesel's vaccines and gave us great advice on how to handle his breed-specific behaviors. Diesel was a bit feisty during the visit, but the vet handled him so well, showing us effective training techniques that really worked. Recently, my one-year-old Frenchie had a severe allergic reaction to a store-bought dog treat, which caused difficulty breathing, facial swelling, and excessive tearing and nasal discharge. Thanks to Dr. Seo's quick and accurate diagnosis, my dog received immediate treatment, and I felt reassured seeing how fast her condition improved. “Dr Roskopf is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I brought my atelopus barbotini in last week, and he gave me antibiotics to put them on because we are unsure if the pet shop lied about them being wild caught or not. I appreciate everything him and his team did for me and my toads. I only give four stars because the appt was about a half hour late, and we arrived 15 min early. Like with humans, things happen with animals, and if my pet needed an extra half hour of care, I would hope the next patient would be compassionate- this doesn’t seem like a place that plans poorly. You can’t go inside, which bothers me and is why I give four stars, because I prefer to be with my animals when I take them anywhere. Frogs and toads are easily stressed, new environments being the thing that stresses them out most, people often strongly recommend against taking them to the vet, but Nick Stacy aka indicator species recommended I go given the circumstances- (he is the first hobbiest to successfully breed atelopus outside a lab) so the extra time in the deli cup probably wasn’t great. Their prices are very reasonable, but having to sit in my car in an uncovered parking space was a bit difficult, and I wasn’t able to turn off my car or the a/c would turn off, which wasted a lot of gas…

Unfortunately the toad passed away a few days later, and Dr. Roskopf called me back right away and suggested I get an necropsy done asap, in case it can help with the one toad I do still have.

Speaking of gas, bless the people that work at the auto repair next door ? the screaming bird sounds can’t be easy to work next door to lol (not a critique of the vet, just to end things on a light note)

Ps- please do not buy animals from pet stores, go to reputable breeders directly. There are so many people that will do anything to make a sale, coming across this Doctor was a nice reminder there are good humans out there that actually care.“
