“I’ve only been to San Diego Hair Extensions twice and I have to say they do phenomenal work. I ditched my old stylist because it would take her two days to do my hair. She was also unprofessional, taking personal phone calls, etc., while I was in her chair. I have to say the stylist here work like a well oiled machine. “When I found Vida I was frustrated because of an experience I had just had with a different Salon. I was looking to get my hair Permed and it seemed impossible to find someone to do this. When Vida answered I knew I found the right person ! She was confident and took the time to discuss my options with me. When I arrived at her studio, I knew I had trusted the right person and when we were finished, I was more than thrilled with outcome! I would recommend Vida for any hair related process!!“

“I came to town for a wedding and had never met Badri before. I had a lot of anxiety because I have very fine, flat hair and can never get my hair to hold a curl or look voluminous. Other times I have spent hundreds of dollars to get my hair done and it just falls right out. Badri took the time necessary to blow dry, texture, and curl my hair not once but TWICE to make sure it stayed. She spared no expense with her use of products and clips in order to help me achieve a beautiful look that lasted ALL NIGHT. I bought some human hair extensions and flower clips on Amazon and told her to just do her thing. This is what she came up with and I got compliments ALL NIGHT ( my hair looked better than the bride's, Whoops!! ). She doesn't rush you or give a once-size fits all approach; As I was leaving, she even pulled me back in to add some finishing touches so it would be perfect. Her price was beyond reasonable, especially for a professional that is used to doing hair for Oscar's attendees and runway models. Badri really is an expert at what she does and will go above and beyond to make you happy. I promise you will love your hair.“

“EMILY DID MY HAIR AND I LOVE HER I recently moved to the area and wanted to find a stylist closer to me. I mainly go to Emily for haircuts these days since I spent years bleaching my hair and needed a break. She gave me great advice on regrowing my hair and never once sold me anything (even tho they had in house products) which was really refreshing. I'd been to many salons that oversell items to you even if it isnt the most optimal for your hair. Emily is really friendly and absolutely gives great pointers on styling and what might look good on you. Everyone at the salon has been great, it's clean, organized and lively. They take card for payment and allow you to tip over venmo which is great. My only call out is I've had simple services like a bangs trim cost a fair amount, though my regular haircuts have been great. I've never left unhappy with my hair, so I'll definitely be sticking around!“

“Had a makeup application with Alexandra, with assist from Kathy. I told her that I wanted something very natural for a wedding. This salon uses extremely good products. Alexandra consulted with me to make sure that I was comfortable with what she was doing as I told her that I do not normally wear makeup. I attended the wedding and felt comfortable the whole time because I never felt that my makeup was overdone. I also ended up getting a blowout which allowed me to relax before getting dressed instead of doing my hair on my own. The salon has very good energy. I'm so happy that I picked this salon! “Gina performed magic in my hair! She’s the best and I’m so impressed with her amazing skills. I had my hair done by a different stylist a week ago and had asked to go a little darker and warmer while still keeping some highlights. I ended up going from a 15 year highlighted bleach blonde to many shades of purple and red with some crazy skunk looking blonde bit right in the front. I had cried myself to sleep that night wondering how/what/who could fix this?!? I was referred to Gina by my husband’s stylist, Sam. They offer coffee, tea and water. They might offer other fun beverages but I'm not 100% about that. The owner Cortney is the bees knees. She's a skilled stylist and colorist. She listens to the service you want, is honest about the process & outcome. You get what you want amd more. “I've been going to Mac for years! She is a shining light and I love spending time with her. She is great with color, and works with me to get my hair cut JUST right... and I'm pretty particular. I recommend coming in with photos / inspiration, and she can get you what you want. Her studio is clean and cute and I followed her from her previous job at Hair Dressers on Fire. I LOVE her color/baliage skills, but mostly come in for hair cuts and toner to save some $. My best friend now goes to her too, and we can't recommend her enough!“
