I started coming to JumpMD in Capitola because my husband has been doing so well with them (lost 80 lbs) & doing so well over the years. I had gastrointestinal issues / really bad stomach issues and body felt horrible but my reg. GP didn’t help me. I came here and we did a property blood panel and found issues that we are trying to get me into health range. It’s only been 3.5 weeks but my diet has changed and I’m learning about what my body needs. I’m getting back into fitness as it’s not the same as 10 years ago.Our bodies change and we need to consider food/mind/fitness connection and I’m slowing working on these things with their coaching. The nutritional couching is short and there is a weight-in which is depressing for me right now, but hopefully with my new nutrition habits it will pay off.
Loving loving this Jazzercise class, and all the instructors!! I had been wanting to try Jazzercise for years and never went for it. I wish had joined sooner. The workouts are fun, and really get my heart rate going and muscles working. The workouts can be modified to fit your level of fitness and you can easily build up your stamina and strength. You definitely feel like you’ve had a great workout at then end of each class. The instructor never make you feel bad if you can’t keep up, but encourage you to try your best, while helping you improve form and function. I had gone to a few in person classes and everyone there is warm and welcoming. However, I have found the live streaming of classes to work better for me. It is a good option if you don’t have the time to drive to class, or just want the privacy of your own space. The different instructors are wonderful and I love how they keep you laughing and engaged with their commentary, singing and encouragement! If you are on the fence, definitely just go for it! You won’t regret it and will be healthier and stronger for it!

Kendra is my normal go to for color and cut (and she’s VERY good at both!) But I recently had a weird issue on my scalp. I thought it was dandruff in only one spot, but it wasn’t. Because of her training, Kendra knew immediately what it was and she cleared it up with the application of products and her handy dandy machine, and sent me home with some product to make sure it was finished correctly.The treatment also left my hair super soft and shiny.. more than normal.Kendra is also a great human and a very kind soul. ?Services: Blowouts

Just in town for a vacation - I have extensions and I wanted to go somewhere and have a wash and style done in the Santa Cruz region. It’s hard to find a stylist who can handle really long extensions- not only did this salon see me the SAME day I called for an appointment, but the lady who did my hair had me done in 90 minutes ! For reference I have 22inch extensions in. She did a deep wash and conditioner on me, blow dried and gave me the cutest curls. I conveyed that I wanted volume in my bangs and she exactly what I asked! 100% recommend this place. The gal who did my hair was: embassy glam ???

The Eufora Beautifying Elixir Line is literally life-changing and I've seen a noticeable difference in just a week. He’s an incredibly talented stylist/colorist and I imagine all the stylists there are equally talented — As others have mentioned, the atmosphere is really positive, lovely and relaxing. What’s more, Scott and Phil are genuinely caring humans. I cannot recommend this business enough.

I've been getting my son's (4) haircuts here for the past year or so. Speedy service and everyone is very friendly. They've always done a great job on his fade, but the lollipop at the end is his favorite. Very accommodating if your child wants you to be near them when their hair is cut. It can be busy at times, but we try to come early to avoid a large wait time.

Three years & on going client - Austin, owner & my go to barber at The Parlor is the best. Located in a Capitola shopping center with convenient, easy free parking. They have great prices for experienced, thorough barbers and most of all cuts with a lot of care. May not seem like a lot, but going to a barber for some guys is just another trim on the top or just another buzz but for more of us men's hair is really important, Austin & his team gets it. Austin has been through a lot of my different hair eras, but he always knows what works best for me. It's always refreshing to be with a barber who gives honest feedback when you ask for guidance on either small adjustments to changing up your cut completely & is not afraid to say "I think we should go for this instead, it would work great for you", if you ask for input. I always leave the chair feeling refreshed and more handsome than when I came in. If you come to Santa Cruz or live locally, highly recommend this place for a solid cut, it's a comfortable space with awesome barbers. You can book appointments easily on their website, they're pretty popular so make sure you book ahead of time. It's worth it.

My favorite tanning salon in Santa Cruz! I've been to a few here in town and have frequented several in the LA area, this is still my favorite salon of all I've been to. They've got reasonably great prices, not as exuberant admittedly as some salons which have ridiculously high prices at. It's a really nice, spacious and clean space with plenty of beds to pick from (lay down, stand up, Red Light Therapy etc). The staff is always present and really friendly, I've gone enough times that the ones who I interact with often usually know my name & what beds I prefer as soon as I step into the door. Love this place, and always happy to come back.

It was a wonderful experience. Danielle is very engaging and explained each phase of the facial. The scalp and shoulder massage was an added bonus. I left feeling relaxed and my face feeling fresh and rejuvenated!

Dr Raffo offices are clean and accommodating. My teeth always feel better after a nice thorough cleaning. Would highly recommend this place if your insurance is accepted.

I waited to post because I wanted to see the full results of the TRT therapy they offer at the office. I started the therapy in July. I hadn’t even noticed, but I am no longer wearing my compression sleeves on my feet and I recently went to Disneyland and walked about 17 miles a day. On the second night my feet barely started feeling sore. I was skeptical about the TRT but not anymore. Definitely worth the investment.

Just got a massage here by Winnie, she gave a relaxing massage and found all my problems areas instantly. She definitely worked on my knots but I left relaxed and not in pain. Her space was clean and comfortable, with heating pads on the tables, hooks for personal items, and soft calming music. I will definitely be back again!

Leo applied the perfect amount of pressure for a deep tissue massage! If you are looking for a massage place that focuses heavily on sore shoulders and back muscles this is the spot! I was recently visiting my son in Santa Cruz and got a muscle spasm in my back. After seeing Tamar's GREAT reviews I contacted her and learned just how DESERVED those reviews were. She was able to get me in the next day. After my wonderful massage my back felt significantly better. By the next day it felt exponentially better. I know I avoided many days of back pain by having Tamar treat it right away. On top of being incredibly skilled and intuitive, she is kind and makes one feel comfortable around her. I just finished the 4 week flow over flaws series with Angela - it took place virtually (since we are both on different coasts ) The sessions were such a treat ! I love Angela's philosophy and how she infuses it into all her teachings - she has a great way of breaking everything down and making it very simple and each week builds on the previous wee's module - she gives plenty of tips on how to incorporate the teachings day to day and explains the benefits of each and every single thing I love that I didn't leave the course with a to do list of things rather some simple but effective teachings that will surely enhance my understanding of myself (in addition to my skin's health ) I will truly miss my weekly meetings with her (I seriously could talk to her all day ) but I'm very much looking forward to future virtual classes and events

Lisa is incredible!! Her massages are firm and relaxing. Been visiting her occasionally for about a year. I've had a couples table massage, a foot massage, a chair massage targeting the upper back and shoulders, a sinus massage and I've not been disappointed with any of these services. I always feel amazing when I leave her establishment. She also showed me stretches I can do after I mentioned having some hip pain. I'd recommend her over and over!!

Yuval is a great acupuncturist, I had really painful tennis elbow and with some time and rest and Yuval’s treatments I am back in the MMA gym again for training! Go see Yuval he knows what he’s doing and really cares about getting his clients back to what they love to do !
Katie's acupuncture sessions are magic! She uses a wonderful mix of hands on light touch, acupuncture, and vibration. Since she only accepts one patient at a time, she has time to attune and truly listen to your needs.
