“If you are thinking about buying a house this year - here's a shout out for Nicole Borkgren! She was amazing - hands down THE BEST real estate agent I've ever had the pleasure of working with!!!! She took the time to find exactly what we were looking for and truly went above and beyond! Our families had a very unusual situation where I was recently divorced, living in an apartment in the San Fernando Valley, and my folks just sold their house in Arizona to move here to help me out, and had an extremely short escrow - time was of the essence especially because they have a menagerie of pets! So Nicole recommended a few people for us and luckily, we went with an amazing mortgage lender - Mark Cavarretta of Wintrust Mortgage in Sherman Oaks. He did a fast evaluation of our situation and pre-qualified us, which in and of itself was a miracle considering all of the issues I had with my divorce and the fact that my folks are retired.
