“I had a doctor for years who recently retired and I needed to find an in- network physician. Dr. Elham J. Louis, DO was taking new patients so I made an appointment. At first, I was a little concerned about going with a new doctor because I had lots of issues being almost 70 years old. On my first appointment, the office staff was very kind to me and they really made me feel comfortable. Dr. Louis was very professional and fully explained everything. We went through my medical history. The more I talked with her, the more I felt that going with Gateway was an excellent decision. After several visits, everything was coming full circle. She made sure my medications were refilled, all necessary blood tests were done and Dr. Louis even had me take other tests to make sure I was healthy. Gateway Medical is a very busy facility but I have always been able to get an appointment. If I need to get a test, I'm given an in-network referral list and a summary of the visit. I truly appreciate her and the staff for all they do!“
“Wow! I was blown away today by service at Kaiser Campbell Pharmacy. I called to get a prescription that was delayed due to power outage last week and not optimistic I'd be able to get it before I travel overseas in two days. Richard took my call and said he'd do his best to get it by Thursday, which is all the info he could provide. I know that the medication takes a minimum of 3 days to arrive at the pharmacy after being ordered and often up to a week. He called me back about 20 minutes later saying he found the medication and I could come pick it up right then. Incredible! Richard is a superstar hero.I got to the pharmacy an hour later and -- no surprise -- there's a line of over 10 people waiting to pick up. But, instead of the usual one person very slowly helping customers, there were three staff members fulfilling prescriptions so the line moved very fast. This is a huge change from the past couple years where the same selection of slow unhelpful staff take their time helping customers and the lines at Campbell pharmacy moved very slowly. I don't know what happened but this change is very welcome and much appreciated.“
“It's unfortunate to see that this place is rated 1-star by people based on their experience in dealing with the reception or calling into the reception. That prevents others from getting a fair idea of the place. I visited this place a week back to see Dr. Peng for my wrist pain. I set up an appointment through the MyHealth app of Stanford. There are plenty of parking spots in the morning around 9:30 am. Check-in was smooth. I waited for 10-15 minutes after which Dr. Peng saw me. I am happy with the attention and care I received. I recommend this place for seeing a doctor related to sports injuries.“
“I come to UMG Campbell for my primary care needs and I've never had a bad experience. The clinic has a spot in a medical building which has ample parking outside. The actual office location is on the first floor and it's one of the first doors as you head down the corridor. The receptionists have been very pleasant every time that I've visited. They check me in very quickly, are thorough updating my records (insurance, address info, pharmacy info) so I don't have to stress about it later. The waiting room is quite spacious and it's never really that busy which I suspect is because their appointments are always on time. There are a few amenities while you wait including wifi (password is by the reception desk), water, and coffee. I've never felt rushed during my appointments at all. You can book your appointments online and depending on your concern type, they will allot more or less time. You can see how long the appointment time is online or you can ask if you're making your appointment over the phone. I recommend being straight up with what you're trying to book for to ensure they have enough time for you. The physicals are usually a 1 hour slot and miscellaneous concerns I've had have been 20 minutes for a reference point. One small point is if you have insurance, make sure that you're in network. The receptionists cannot check this for you. This has to be done through your insurance provider. UMG is one of Stanford clinics and they tend to be on the expensive side from what I've been told by the staff.“
“Excellent skills executed by Dr Brad and the staff. They make strides to ensure the clients are comfortable and receiving the best of services. I highly recommend this office. Their excellent work prevented me from needing surgery and I am incredibly grateful.“
