We knew what we needed so we didn't have to visit their showroom. Everything was done over the phone. I went online and found the fireplace I wanted. I found Cal Window/Fireplace through the manufacturer website.I wanted to see the fireplace in person. I called Cal Window and Fireplace, Patrick let me know they didn't have the fireplace I wanted on display. But he said he could order it and save on the shipping because they're a local dealer.I would still recommend checking out their showroom.I placed my order over the phone. I wanted to see the fireplace in person. I called Cal Window and Fireplace, Patrick let me know they didn't have the fireplace I wanted on display. But he said he could order it and save on the shipping because they're a local dealer.I would still recommend checking out their showroom.I placed my order over the phone. There was a little delay, because the first unit was damaged in shipping so a second unit was sent.The fireplace we purchased was just a prefabricated unit (it's just covered with concrete backer board). We had ours marble stone veneered before recording the attached video. I'd definitely go with Cal Window and Fireplace again. Ask for Patrick or Sean.

We purchased a Mendota fireplace insert several years back. We had a great sales/installation experience and love our insert. Today I had trouble with the remote. I brought it in and they problem solved, called Mendota, solved the issue and threw in new batteries. At no cost. I really appreciate their customer care!
