First contractor came out: your system is trashed and too old, $24K for a full system upgrade or $19K if we use some of your old components and it’ll be two weeks before we can start. Patrick from Sexton shows up, replaces a couple of components, 30 mins later the system is up and running.

Called on a Saturday because my HVAC stopped cooling and was just blowing hot air, fully expecting to not get a call back until Monday or Tuesday. But Patrick Sexton called me back that day, he came the next day (Sunday - which was also Father's Day) and was able to diagnose and repair my unit in 20 minutes. Not only was Patrick courteous and expedient he didn't try to gouge me for it being a Sunday. He was so kind I highly recommend him, and will use him for all my HVAC needs.
