I made an appoiment witt John around June 2025 for neck spasms and headaches on my right temple. These were new symptoms for me. I hace suffered from regular headaches almost all of my life. My new symptoms were worrisome for me so I reached out to White Magnolia for alternative therapy. I attended my appointments with an open mind but with a dose of skeptisism!
John diagnosed my symptoms to my neck muscles...he described the situation in layman and technical terms.He also explained how he was going to treated with sport acupuncture tools. This consisted of using acupuncture needles, connected to electrodes that made the muscles 'twitch' or contract and relax.

Sports acupuncture in general, and care from John Luna-Sparks in particular, has been incredibly helpful for me. We have released overtight muscles, engaged muscles that weren't activating, and stabilized imbalanced joints. As a massage therapist, staying in peak form and out of pain is crucial to my work. Where do I even begin…. Came here in 2023 after years of experiencing severe stomach pains and getting no results at Kaiser or any doctors so tried acupuncture and I’ve never left.
