I had an excellent session with Daniel for my frozen shoulder. He used acupressure and massage, not acupuncture, and was able to reduce the pain and tension around the shoulder. He was a great listener, he was respectful, and he seemed to really know what he was talking about. I appreciated the sliding scale and the community care model. I will likely be back!
In my first 30-minute abdominal massage (chi nei tsang) with Rosemary Kim, Rosemary:1. Made me feel comfortable asking about something unrelated to our session: how I can clear energy in my very old home that would wake me up in the middle of the night. She referred me to the most affordable space clearing practitioner I've found that goes beyond things I've already tried (sage, incense, salt).2. Knew that part of my belly was holding on to resentment, something no other practitioner verbalized and worked with me on. And I've tried a laundry list of modalities, each one often with different practitioners.
Had a great session here a few months ago to gain some relief for postherpetic neuralgia (post-shingles pain). I had never visited an accupuncturist, but they were professional and awesome and made me feel relaxed (I actually fell asleep during the session and honestly slept so well that night). When I explained my systems, they also worked on a localized massage and gave great recommendations for herbal care. Loved the sliding pay scale and will be back!
