Spoke to Goby by phone and specifically asked how they charge. He said 185 labor and I specifically clarified by phone that the charge applied only IF they fixed the printer and with that understanding I moved ahead. VERY bad communication about arrival time and after waiting all afternoon and calling them twice he tried at 5 pm to move to the next day. I protested and he came but he complained that I “pushed” him to come. He did not fix the printer and blamed the (confirmed OEM) fuser unit that was brand new. With global semiconductor shortage, it's better to fix printers. New laser pritners are hard to find locally. I am glad that Goby helped us to fix out HP LaserJet printers. Thanks you!

Avoid at all cost!We called under the assumption that it's a Berkeley-SF company, given the 510 area code. A service person arrived from the South Bay, where the company is located for real. The inflated commute charge was not discussed with us beforehand, but was billed to us. His manner was hurried, rude and patronizing. He complained that he would rather go to an office building and serve 10 printers at a time rather than go to our home and deal with one printer.
