“Baby Boomers, or anyone related to one, read up, because this is worth knowing about right now: CEI offers phenomenal programs, improving the lives of many seniors immeasurably - for FREE! Their slogan is "Your Life Just Got Better" and I know mine sure did. I am 60 years old, currently in a wheelchair, my mother is 84, and we live in Orinda. Both of us have been participating in CEI programs for about a year and a half. A partial list of services and benefits to us follows, although some of the outings, massage folks, and day center activities have changed during COVID. Healthcare - 24/7, 365, we have an excellent onsite care team and doctor. When referred to other/outside specialists, we see top notch doctors. Vision, dental, physical therapy, occupational therapy, diet/nutrition. Advanced lab or imaging studies aren't shied away from. Medication and equipment - No cost, delivered weekly. Blister packed by day, and by time of day, in one weekly folio. Includes incontinence supplies, wound dressings, etc. Wheelchairs, walkers, and other DME are included if needed. Even hearing aids, dentures, or glasses. Home health support - Help with bathing, bed-making, and changing, meds, meals - that all varies per person. Some light cleaning our laundry. Home safety evaluations, grab bars, toilet risers, bath chairs and the lot are offered. Meals - Tasty, healthy and freshly-prepared meals are served in renovated CEI day centers or delivered to one's home. Day centers - Social activities, computer lab, gym, and alternative healthcare options, e.g. acupuncture or massage are offered in every clean and well-designed CEI facility. Join an activity or do your own thing. Staffed by incredibly kind people. Transportation - Provided to and from every appointment or other activity, which is a great relief to us. Removes stress related to driving or finding parking/validation, then navigating on foot from parking spot to target. We appreciate not risking damage to our cars, getting stuck, etc. More - Please do not think you wouldn't qualify, or that it cannot work with your existing insurance, or that you have too many assets... Check it out, calling them is the best way. Refer an aging friend or join yourself. Life indeed will get better.“

“Was having such a hard time finding a place that I felt comfortable allowing into my home to do service for rehabilitation and additional care. This place has been tremendous through the starting process. Between 24-48 hours we had someone in my home assisting and doing clinical with my grandmother. The staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. More specifically, Sammie, the marketer was beyond amazing, but I feel extremely comfortable allowing this company to help within this process. Not to mention that they do service most, if not all of the Bay Area.Would for sure recommend to other friends and family!!“

Any way this update is to acknowledge Wendy is awesome and has always been on top of my needs and remains so today. the negative review earlier was for not being able to reach anyone and my voice mail messages going unanswered. I felt that this was a reflection of the business rather than Wendy - because she always has been great to work with!!“

“Jessica from public relations dept reached out to me. She was very thoughtful and explained why we fell through the cracks as we were not informed that Jackie Chan was doing takeout at the height of the pandemic. She apologized and said their customer base is monolingual Chinese and they were able to access the information about the services as they read the Chinese newspaper and we don't. She explained the door ring camera policy is donated by the company Ring, and you need WiFi to access it which we don't have. She said she can connect me with AT & T at a discount rate for seniors. Jessica is very compassionate towards the seniors. Even though one employee left us with a bitter taste (she hassled people for donations and elbowed her coworker not to give me the lunch), I think this organization is very sensitive and compassionate towards us seniors. One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole barrel.“

“Would love to evaluate our caregiver, Simone. Simone is reliable, personable, professional. and a caring person. She takes care of my mother who suffers from dementia, and my mother loves Simone and looks forward to the time when Simone comes to visit her. Simone always communicates with me scheduling wise. I cannot express the appreciation I have for her and I know that she will go far caring for your family member if you are ever privileged enough to be assigned to her.“

“After a traumatic experience getting a blood draw for my 2 year at a lab, our doctor recommended an at home Appt. I had no idea where to go and I happened to speak with the scheduler at Bay PLS and she eased my mind. She said they had an experienced tech who had extensive experience with children. My wife and I were very nervous but the whole thing went amazingly. No tears, no drama and over in an instant. The techs name was Martin and he was fantastic. We will definitely be using this place again in the future!“

“We are so happy with the services provided by all of the caregivers here. We care so much about our father. My father has been a member since May 2021 it took him a little time to get adjusted and acclimated to that location but quickly became comfortable after meeting his doctor, therapist they are all on site. Naturally we wanted to find a place where we could trust the staff. This center is absolutely amazing!
