Berkeley Dog and Cat is the place to go for emergency or critical care for your cat. I have been a client for over 15 yrs and they have helped me with critical care for several cats. Their vets do not "up sale" you but honestly explain your options with the cost. They do not pressure you for a decision; I found Dr. Minturn particularly helpful. He recommended caution and patience with some medication before making a final life decision. My cat Leon recovered and is alive and healthy today because of his recommendations! I highly recommend them.
I'm very thankful for the care my cat was given when we took her in. However, when she got back home, I noticed that one of her nails was clumped up with dried blood, and it seemed to hurt her. When I took a closer look, it seemed like all of her nails had been cut, and they were cut very short. My guess is that whoever cut them cut too short on one of her nails, and it bled. It looks like it bled a lot, and nothing was done to stop it. I hate to think that she suffered that pain while she was there, by herself ?
Im a returning client from many years ago. I am just as impressed now as I was back then. The vet Dr gave me so much useful information on my lab's upcoming surgery, she took her time with me. The vet tech was the best in working out a budget that would work for my visit. Lovely people all the way around! I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. Thank you everyone!
