I have two dogs and a cat. An old Pomeranian and a young mutt that's half German Shepherd half husky and she suffers from chronic stomach troubles. My cat weighs 25 lb - yes, not the healthiest weight but we try. I have spent so much time at University Vet in the last couple of years that I joke that I should have my own wing. Hands down this is the most pleasant veterinary experience I've had and I've had a lot of animals in my life. Wonderful experience, all across the line from front desk to nurse to vet. Everyone warm, positive, responsive, listens and provides clear explanations of their recommendations. Highly recommend.

I loved taking my Seeing Eye dog here for his care. The staff are extremely courteous and caring and Dr. Schaeffer is an amazing vet. Unfortunately, I will most likely be looking for a new clinic, because some of their costs are exorbitant. The state of Hawaii requires a health certificate, stating that the vaccines are up-to-date and that the vet has administered flea and tick medication. The clinic charged a whopping dollar 577 just to give me a letter that the vaccinations are up-to-date and the flea and tick medication had been administered . Considering that they already have my service dogs vaccination records, such a hefty price tag for service dog is unwarranted...read full review
