I have a super antique stove from 1910-1920s which got me a quick rejection from 4 other stove repair places I tried calling. One person came out and charged me money just to tell me there’s nothing he could do about it. Needless to say, when I contacted Apple Stoves and Chris answered confidently that he could fix it the next day, I was relieved but still had a little apprehension if it could actually be fixed. We had a gas leak on one of the knobs (confirmed by pge) and one of the pilots would not light back on so we needed this fixed asap since we were living without a stove for a few days and possibly longer if he couldn’t fix it. Chris saved the day, and was super friendly, fixed everything throughly, and even taught me a few things along the way. I can’t recommend Chris enough for anyone with an antique stove.“

Thankfully, we had purchased the Appliance Service Plan from Bosch, so we were covered. Upon contacting Bosch directly, we were informed it would take around 20 days for a technician to come out and review the issue. However, Bosch gave us the option to call a certified third-party repair service instead, which led us to Appliances Giants/Appliance Repair in San Francisco.
From the very beginning, the experience with Appliances Giants/Appliance Repair was smooth and professional. Igor, the technician, was punctual and thorough. He arrived on time, conducted a detailed inspection, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He recommended replacing certain parts to resolve the issue. I worked with Bosch to inform them of his findings.
Once Bosch approved the parts replacement, Appliances Giants/Appliance Repair took over seamlessly. They promptly ordered the necessary parts and kept us informed every step of the way. When the parts arrived, they scheduled a follow-up appointment without delay, and Igor came back to complete the repair.
The entire process--from diagnosing the issue to completing the repair--was handled with professionalism and efficiency. Igor's expertise and attention to detail made a potentially frustrating situation much easier to deal with.
