“My wife and I brought our two sons into Insight Optometry. We were all seen by Dr. Doherty. He was great to work with. He has a great disposition. Throughout the exam he explained the various tests and screenings. Our sons who are 12 and 14yo don't love going to see the doctor enjoy Dr. Doherty. He has great rapport with kids who aren't that interested in conversations with anyone other than their peers. We will be Insight Vision patients as long as we live in WC. “Dr. Respicio has been taking are of us since 1998ish. We started with him in Daly City and now receive care in Hercules. We moved to Nevada 3 years ago and have continued to make the drive to see him because there really is not a better eye doctor on the planet. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Respicio, his office, his staff, everything is top notch. I tried someplace else last year, closer to home, highly recommended, etc. I will be driving the 3.5 hours until Dr. Respicio retires.“

“Came here for a regular check up and to get new lenses for my glasses. I got Stephanie Chan instead of Roy and she was really cool. I really don't like things around my eyes and she was very patient with me every time I would flinch away from the eyedrops or light. She also listened to my concerns about issues with my eyes and explained to me why that was happening. The last eye doctor I went to kind of just smirked at me when I was telling him what I was worried about and brushed it off like I was overreacting. Very glad I came here, way different levels in quality of service compared to my old place.“

“I can’t say enough about the Dr Cheng and staff at Looking Glass Optometry. This was my first experience in getting prescription glasses and it couldn’t have been better.
Dr. Cheng was easy going and thorough in her examination, explaining the process all along the way (I was in for progressives and single vision glasses). She lived up to her stellar reviews.
After the examination, Jennica patiently and pleasantly helped me pick out frames.
On delivery, Gina assisted in fitting me and explaining further how progressives work. I have had nothing but compliments.
I walked out feeling I made the best of all the choices of optometrists in the area and highly recommend to whoever is in the need for, or doesn’t yet know they’re in the need for the services offered by Looking Glass Optometry!“

“Dr. Chan is excellent. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 has to do with the front staff. I was told that my insurance would cover part of the cost for a pair of sunglasses and I was quoted a price. The staff member then encouraged me to wait until my annual appointment to purchase them (so my benefit could be applied). However, when I got done with the appointment one month later and was ready to purchase the glasses, another staff member said I had to pay full price. When I explained this to the staff member who had originally quoted me the price (she had even encouraged me to put the glasses on hold), she said she "did not remember" ever quoting me the discounted price. I should have asked for the quote in writing. I will be doing this from now on and I would definitely advise others to do the same. I would hope that the front staff is more clear in the future. Furthermore, I would hope that they don't "forget" details promised.“
