Throughout the exam he explained the various tests and screenings. Our sons who are 12 and 14yo don't love going to see the doctor enjoy Dr. Doherty. “Dr. Respicio has been taking are of us since 1998ish. We started with him in Daly City and now receive care in Hercules. We moved to Nevada 3 years ago and have continued to make the drive to see him because there really is not a better eye doctor on the planet. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Respicio, his office, his staff, everything is top notch. I tried someplace else last year, closer to home, highly recommended, etc. I will be driving the 3.5 hours until Dr. Respicio retires.“

“I can’t say enough about the Dr Cheng and staff at Looking Glass Optometry. This was my first experience in getting prescription glasses and it couldn’t have been better.
Dr. Cheng was easy going and thorough in her examination, explaining the process all along the way (I was in for progressives and single vision glasses). She lived up to her stellar reviews.
After the examination, Jennica patiently and pleasantly helped me pick out frames.
On delivery, Gina assisted in fitting me and explaining further how progressives work. I have had nothing but compliments.

“Dr. Chan is excellent. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 has to do with the front staff. I was told that my insurance would cover part of the cost for a pair of sunglasses and I was quoted a price. The staff member then encouraged me to wait until my annual appointment to purchase them (so my benefit could be applied). However, when I got done with the appointment one month later and was ready to purchase the glasses, another staff member said I had to pay full price. When I explained this to the staff member who had originally quoted me the price (she had even encouraged me to put the glasses on hold), she said she "did not remember" ever quoting me the discounted price. I should have asked for the quote in writing. I will be doing this from now on and I would definitely advise others to do the same. I would hope that the front staff is more clear in the future. Furthermore, I would hope that they don't "forget" details promised.“

“Dr. Mock helped me understand my frustrations with my vision better than any other doctor I've seen. From my perspective, having a giant swirly mass floating in my field of vision drives me nuts and has ruined my ability to ski (drama!). Every other doctor I've seen has blown me off as it's "no big deal." Dr. Mock explained to me in a "a patient first" way why I have to live with my first world problem. Other doctors have left me frustrated with the sense that I'm too stupid to understand why my problem can't be fixed. He is a very good doctor.“

“I absolutely love the doctor. He is very understanding of any concerns and does help and makes sure you understand everything. I appreciate how I don't have to wait a long time to get an appt. The receptionist always answer pretty fast. Fair warning when you have an appt you have the call them to unlock the door and let you in.Only time I ever had an issue was during covid time for the wait on my medi-cal glasses but its understandable and thankfully I was still able to use the glasses I had at the time.“
