Most of the times I have been there have been pleasant but only three times I left discontented. First being on a visit, prior to it I was told my eyes weren’t going to get dilated so I went without driver. Short time in, they put drops in and then told me it was to dilate eyes. Thankfully I don’t live too far nor encountered heavy traffic. Second time was my prescription paperwork was one day short of the two year validation, I went to repair my glasses but they wouldn’t do it. Most recent was my appointment to get my prescription re-valided but couple of days before, they called me to tell me the technician was going on parental leave and they would call me back...read full review

Very professional establishment that clearly sees (pun intended) to the needs of their patients. They took care care of my wife from the time we walked into the office. Great staff!!!

I enjoy my visits with Dr. Ringle! She definitely goes above and beyond and takes her time with you during the appointment. She has helped me so much during my vision issue journey, and I appreciate her so much. The only downfall from this office, it’s hard to get them on the phone! But other than that I enjoyed this location. The wait isn’t bad either in my experience. Thank you, Dr. Ringle.

ACE's Bakersfield eye doctors, four optometrists, and three ophthalmologists provide routine eye exams, diabetic eye exams, eye disease management and testing, contact lens assessments, surgical eye care, and low vision evaluations. And through our in-house Optical Department, which features a large selection of stylish metal and plastic frames, we are able to fill prescriptions for eyeglasses. Our mission is to make high-quality eye care available to everybody in Kern County, regardless of their ability to pay. To that end, ACE is proud to accept most public health plans such as Kern Family Healthcare, HealthNet, Straight Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medi/Medi, and Covered California. ACE also accepts most PPOs and several vision plans.
