After many other failed attempts, I found this hidden gem and she came to my rescue. I say hidden gem because it's not in a noticeable location. “This is a small family business and the owners are very sweet and professional.I was looking for a local dry cleaning place to have my clothes dry cleaned and stumbled upon this gem. They're very friendly, professional, and accommodating. They're always on time when your clothes are ready.They also provide alterations and tailoring. I inquired about tailoring one of my pajama pants (she called them sentimental pajamas because she told me it would cost more to tailor it then just buying a new one, but I told her my wife got it for me and it has sentimental value to me lol). They will only tell you what's needed to be done to your clothes (i.e. your fitting, hemming, etc.). “Tita's Atelier is amazing people doing quality work. I had bought a cheap dress online and needed it tailored for prom. You are first taken into their fitting room in which you put on the dress you wish to alter and see the degree to which it needs to be altered. Daya was very helpful throughout this entire process, constantly asking questions to make sure the alteration mapping was to my liking. She made sure I liked the length to which the dress would fall to and the degree to which the straps were shortened, and did it all with a smile and no irritation despite the various changes I made or questions I asked.
After the mapping, Maria (Tita), came over to judge the amount of work the alteration would take and gave us the price and estimated time. To shorten a 3-layer dress (with an outer layer of chiffon), raise the leg slit, and shorten the dress straps, they promised to be done in one week which is incredibly quick! They took into account the date of my event as well so that was really thoughtful.
The dress fit like a glove when I got it back and the quality of their work was amazing. I would consider my dress to be on the more complicated end as the three layers they needed to shorten were of different material and of different lengths. Despite that however, the dress was just like the original but shorter. The leg slit was also raised higher so naturally that it seemed as though it was part of the original dress. They also steam and give you a bag to cover any long dresses.
Shoutout to Maria (Tita), Daya (assisstant), Mercedes (seamstress), Alma (steamer), and Nidia (seamstress) for everything!

“Pre-2020 I used another dry cleaners. Post pandemic they went out of business. Let's be real now I don't use clothes that require dry cleaners as much. However, with the holidays I needed an item cleaned. I am so glad I found Rosa!! She's reasonable and does a great job. I even had a zipper repaired.I will suggest to her that she be reliable on hours of operation based on what's on Yelp. I looked it up and said 2pm.Happen to call and she said she was closing at 1pm. That would have been disappointing. She's sweet and may just need to be aware.“

“I wanted to wear this dress I have for a wedding, but my bra was too visible. I took my dress here to shorten the straps. The wedding was starting in 4 hours! I was in such a rush and so worried. Went in and showed the lady what I needed. I knew it was a last minute fix so a no would be understandable. She wasn't hesitant and fixed my dress. She did exactly what I wanted. a THANK YOU!! also thank you for fixing my dress on such short notice! Will absolutely be back.“

“I've been there three times: twice for a bridesmaid dress and once for a dress for a wedding (which was a bridesmaid dress) and she honestly does a great job. She's so sweet too. I remember the prices being reasonable- for instance my maxi dress that's velvet that I am hemming is $18 to hem. I forgot how much I paid for the chiffon bridesmaid dress but I remember it being reasonable. I'm not sure about the pricing for dry cleaning, however when I went to another place for the same dress I paid like $75 which I thought was too much, but i dont dry clean things so I'm not sure of the pricing. I was in a hurry so I went to the other place anyway but I wish I came here instead. Also, I was in a rush this time and she said she can do it in a few days, but did offer me sooner so if you are in a time crunch I do believe she could accommodate.“
