“I've been there three times: twice for a bridesmaid dress and once for a dress for a wedding (which was a bridesmaid dress) and she honestly does a great job. She's so sweet too. I remember the prices being reasonable- for instance my maxi dress that's velvet that I am hemming is $18 to hem. I forgot how much I paid for the chiffon bridesmaid dress but I remember it being reasonable. I'm not sure about the pricing for dry cleaning, however when I went to another place for the same dress I paid like $75 which I thought was too much, but i dont dry clean things so I'm not sure of the pricing. I was in a hurry so I went to the other place anyway but I wish I came here instead. Also, I was in a rush this time and she said she can do it in a few days, but did offer me sooner so if you are in a time crunch I do believe she could accommodate.“

On the wedding day I had walked through a park and plenty of people stepped on my dress throughout the night so it was quite dirty on the bottom afterwards, but they made it look like new again after I sent it in for dry cleaning.“

“So this is my neighborhood cleaner, I go to them for my usual dry cleaning of my shirts and suits etc. I'm a fan! They are fast and courteous and they do a great job. My favorite pair of jeans crotch blew out and I took it to another tailor who patched it but after a while their patch wore out and it was blown again. I was quite sad, but I took it to Halvorsons and they said don't worry we got it. They put on a bigger patch and sewed it on with multiple rows of tacking and saved my jeans! I was super happy about that!Anyway like said great place!“

“I went to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed. They had me try on the dress and showed me where they would recommend I get it hemmed. They quoted me at $48 for the hemming and told me the dress would be ready in 10 days. The whole interaction lasted about 10 minutes. My dress was ready when they said it would be and they did a great job (plus they ironed).“
“I brought 2 pairs of shoes in, one was just a sole re-glue which they fixed right away for a fair price. Then I forgot to pickup the shoes for two months (whoops) but they held onto them for me! Really appreciated that. The second pair I brought in needed a more complicated sole repair and they said it was impossible, but I brought them to another shop and was able to fix them no problem, so not sure what happened there. Overall pretty solid shop for simple repairs.“
