It was an elevated experience compared to a salon service.
She did an excellent job, high quality service, and a relaxing experience.
We had a wonderful girly afternoon, sipping wine while being pampered.

“It’s evident that they don’t get a lot of African American customers. My family has been in this area since the 50’s. This is my home! I’ve never in my 50 years of life had a nail tech tell me that the color I chose didn’t flatter my skin tone. So I went with her choice of color. But I didn’t like it. I was so dissatisfied that I paid for the full service and a tip. I advised them that I was not pleased and would go to my normal pedicure technician to fix it. No problem. But then the manager said that I chose the color. I was offended because I didn’t choose the color. I felt he should have listened and been apologetic. I was not irrate with him and even paid for a $95 full set as well as $65 for a 10 year old manicure and full set of gel tips, and $60, plus tip for a pedicure that i didn’t like.
I will never go back and forever stand against their outrageous service to us and lack of consideration. Now had we gone in with violence like some do when they feel they’ve been done wrong at the nail shop. I might understand their position. But this was pure discrimination because of race.
Ignorance is not an excuse. You can’t tell a customer that the color they choose is not flattering to their skin tone. If the customer agrees with you and ultimately doesn’t like your suggestion it shouldn’t be a problem to fix it. But because it tolerated customers like me get taken advantage of and it’s abusive in so many ways. I am not that woman that has ever acted out or not shown utmost appreciation in a nail salon. I don’t appreciate the ignorance and disrespect after I paid for a full pedicure that I will have to have fixed at another place. Customer service is everything and goes a long way. You might have taken the time to fix it rather than make a customer feel like they did something wrong by listening and taking the advice of your own technician. If you can’t stand behind your words then be silent. You get why! I am sad that I came here and couldn’t post a stellar and excellent review of my experience like so many others did. It’s unfortunate and most likely no one cares. My consolation is having a president that everyone thinks is racist but he’s absolutely not. That fact made me smile as the manager was being politely rude to me and condescending because he thinks he can. No worries. Karma gone catch you in some way business wise and personally. Be careful how you treat others.. Listen to others concerns. Always be kind and understanding. Don’t be so quick to dismiss them because of what you think. You may not have all the facts or realize certain facts. Just be willing to listen in an unbiased way and apologize whether you’re wrong or right because it does affect your business and your reputation whether you think so or not.“

“Tim was so amazing! I was running pretty late towards the end of the day when they close. He was so sweet and would always check in with me making sure I liked what he was doing. He followed my inspiration perfectly. It looks and feels great! Very gentle. A little pricey but you get what you pay for! They also have a 2 week policy so if you have any issues, you can come back to get whatever you need fixed.“
