“The Studio is definitely a gem in SLO! It's centrally located on an adorable, sunny corner and a great spot for people watching while you're getting your hair and nails done. The Studio has a great vibe. I love that it's small and it's a more personal, relaxing experience rather than the chaos of a huge salon. The decor is beautiful and there's always something new to look at with the changing seasons/holidays. Mia and Lynee are both hilarious and so easy to talk to, overall they bring a great energy to the studio. Lynee does my hair and she always nails it! She is the blonde master. She gives the best highlights that are the perfect shade of blonde every time. I have a ton of hair and I'm picky about my haircuts, but she always knows what I need without me telling her. Mia is so talented at anything nails, and she also rocks at hair! She has done a few updo's for me for weddings and other events and it's always gorgeous. Mia's nail corner is one of the cutest ever I've seen and she gives a fabulous manicure/pedicure. I am conscious of toxic beauty products that I use, so I'm thrilled that she is now carrying new lines that are considered less toxic! I would highly recommend The Studio for any hair/nail needs!“

“San Luis Obispa is one of the best spas I have been to on the Central Coast! It is located in a restored 1900's ranch and has such an adorable rustic vibe to it. On top of the location being unique, the customer service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and very experienced in their craft. I highly recommend Amber when going in for a massage. She is spectacular. It was the best massage I've ever had! I look forward to going back for a facial and mani/pedi and I will update my review once I do. But I am sure both of these services will be amazing as well. I loved the gift shop and picked up some great smelling hand lotion and some body spritz. They also have an aromatherapy bar with bunch of different scented oils there that you can mix yourself to create a scent and turn it into a lotion or body spray or even use it in an oil burner to make your home smell great. All in all, I loved every component of this spa and I highly recommend checking it out!“

“Love this place. They are one of the best places for a mani/pedi. They are really kind to your older (80-90 yr olds).The only drawback is that it is smaller and only has about 6-7 pedicure chairs that are in a circle. Having said that, I would still rather go there for my pedicures.“

“Let me tell you about Ashley... I finally made the decision to stop going to local walk-in nail salons after many instances of poor drill work (i.e. my cuticles on both my hands and feet getting clipped by the drill fairly consistently) and overall general poor work (such as being left with gobs of collagen gel on my feet after a pedicure and having to wipe it off when I get home). I had seen Ashley's Yelp page and my massage therapist had recommended her long ago. So, I scheduled an appointment for both a gel pedicure and gel manicure. Ashley does the best work. She only accepts one client at a time in her private studio; so, I am treated to a private service each and every visit. She is detail oriented, friendly, communicative, and professional. I cannot believe I tortured myself for years with walk-in nail salons before finally booking with Ashley. Does it cost more than walk-in nail salons? Yes; but, it's worth every penny.“
