“I'm in the middle of a full renovation of a hundred year old house, and have been doing my best to go with period-appropriate trims. I checked out several well-known spots across LA county for sourcing mouldings in addition to AS&D, but I didn't come across anyone at any of them who knew (or was interested in taking the time to share) about historical craftsman trim to the extent Matthew at AS&D did. He took a big chunk of his time to walk me through the different profiles, materials, and suppliers available, as well as advantages of setting up custom blades vs how to get what I wanted more cost effectively with more readily available options. Everything was recently installed and it looks amazing and fits the house perfectly. Highly recommend.“

“This is full service glass shop for your commercial or residential needs.The business is family run and been around for decades and unlike many of their competitors they fabricate frameless shower packages and mirrors in custom sizes from stock sheets of glass in house. I was in need of a custom frameless shower door unit for my bathroom remodel and met with Ziggy who handles the residential department. He coordinates glaziers to measure, fabricate and installs the product. I met with him one time and advised him of what finish of hardware, type of glass and thickness desired. He gave me the options and documented my material request. Ziggy sent two employess out to take final measurements of the opening sizes and the shop proceeded to miter, polish, fabricate hinge notches on the 1/2" starfire glass (low iron) and sent it out for tempering. Within five working days, two glaziers arrived to my residence and installed the three panels of custom fabricated tempered glass. Any other shop would have taken several weeks so the turnaround here was amazing!I'm super happy with the look of the frameless shower unit that Aital Custom Glass fabricated and installed in my master bathroom and highly recommend them!“

“This place is amazing for your window pane needs!!! Home Depot AND Lowe's did not carry glass in the size I needed. From their pricing tiers, it would have cost more than coming to this locally owned small business!! This place really saved me because other small businesses were going to charge up to $40 for relatively small glass dimensions I wanted, this business only charged me $20 :)The cutting was included and the guy was nice enough to sand the edges for me for free :)Local vandals break the windows of our small local businesses on Beverly Blvd. We should help keep our small businesses safe and give them more business when we can.I'm glad The big box stores didn't carry my glass size, or I never would have found this awesome window store.“

“Went through a full home remodel around five years ago and my contractor recommended Value windows. Never heard of the company but he used them for many of his projects. Windows and sliding doors work great, and contrary to some of the other reviews, color has been consistent through the years as well. On one of the larger dual panes windows, I had something called spontaneous breakage occur (window basically just shattered). It is not common, but can happen (and not necessarily just tied to this manufacturer). Having contacted Value directly, was thinking that this could be covered under warranty due to it not being caused by me. Unfortunately, they said that it wouldn't be covered and offered me a quote to get it replaced. Reluctantly said yes and was waiting which took a while. I was beginning to wonder why it was taking so long when they finally got back to me to say that they were working with management to see if they can replace it free of charge - whoa! I'm so appreciative of this company for going above and beyond. Again, based on the other yelper reviews, it looks like hit or miss, but wanted to leave my review for the positive experience I had. Also special shout out to Cristina and Winnie in the service department for making this happen, as well as the good flow of communication back and forth.“
