I injured my ankle a year ago and have been struggling to walk or run without pain. I was feeling lop-sided and very rigid with little range of motion in my neck, shoulders and hips. After a single 50 minute session I feel INCREDIBLE. My hips are now aligned, I have more range of motion in my ankle, hips, shoulders and neck. If you are worried about the money please know Felix is worth every single penny. If I had more money to give, I would give him all my money. What a gift to experience his work and expertise. If you have the means and need, Felix is your person, hands down, five stars, would recommend.“

Good Witch Wellness and Apothecary, 1128 Lincoln Ave, Alameda“Katy is an incredible massage therapist with a warm, grounding presence. Her Alameda space (centrally located mid-island within the charming Good Witch Wellness ) is beautiful, soothing and sanitary. Katy deeply listens to what it is you and your body need and her massage quickly melts away any tension. Based on what I was looking for Katy combined foot reflexology, gentle yet effective deeper tissue work and soothing swedish strokes, for a wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Katy is so well attuned to her clients, offering suggestions to breathe and let go of what you don't need in a way that's unobtrusive and healing. Go see Katy for your next massage - your body and spirit will thank you!!“

2719 Encinal Ave b1, Alameda“Highly recommend Krystal! I had major surgery recently and need massage as part of my recovery process. Krystal has been such a wonderful person to work with. She's talented for sure. But she is also a great listener, caring, flexible and compassionate. As an example, I couldn't lie on my stomach for a while post-surgery. Krystal set up an accommodation so that I could be in a comfortable position and still get the therapy I needed. She's great!“

2410 Central Ave, Alameda“I've been looking for a high quality and affordable spot for massages when I want to treat myself to some much needed R&R, and after trying a few spots around Alameda, Dusit Thai is the one!!
The space itself is pretty simple and small, but I appreciate the small details like cute plant decor, real hand towels in the bathroom, and the heated massage bed. I always come out feeling sooo relaxed coming out of my Swedish massage there.
Bonus points for it being in downtown, so I can grab a treat afterwards to continue the self care :D“
“Erin is a miracle worker. Her hands are fantastic. This is a clean and classy joint. Everything here is immaculate and Erin's service is flawless. I have issues with my shoulders and Erin was able to get in there and make me feel fantastic. What a relief. She has the ability to surgically adjust pressure and MD-level knowledge of anatomy. The going rate here is about $145/hour, which is cheap for a top-notch massage therapist.“

Like the physical space, she created, Jessica provides highly personalized therapeutic services designed to support your needs. It's a delight to visit her and facility, for, combined with her body work, it actually seems otherworldly most times. Her unique approach is not to be missed.“

1173 Park Ave, Alameda“First time seeing Raul for knee and carpal tunnel pain. He was very professional and communicative. The biggest difference I noticed was improvement with my sleep (I was also experiencing insomnia for about a month). I’ve had the best sleep since my session. I also felt relief in my arm (where I experience carpal tunnel), as well as overall release of tension in the upper body. Will be scheduling regular monthly sessions. The space was also very comfortable, easy to find, and plenty of parking.“

1505 Webster St, Alameda“I have been seeing Ann Moore 4 over 10 years for massage therapy. Her style is extremely unique. Her prices are affordable for the amount of education and knowledge she has. It’s a very hard to get in with her so once you have an appointment do not move it. She is very kind and caring. I hope she never retires. Haha“

710 Lincoln Ave, Alameda“I was a gym newbie who had the pleasure of working with Jason, who helped me bulk up a good 20+ pounds in the duration of our training together. I'm now more fit, energetic, motivated, and more confident and happy overall. Starting seeing results very quickly, in fact; my friends and family have noticed these changes which I couldn't be happier about.Jason is so knowledgeable in all angles of health and fitness and fosters a welcoming, accessible environment. He'll be able to work with you no matter your goals or experience level. I really appreciated him teaching me all about form and providing accommodations for some physical concerns of mine too -- eg helping navigate workouts with some tendonitis I have, and teaching me methods to deadlift comfortably with a shoulder that can sometimes act up from an injury years back. He is very proactive about preventing injury and promoting effective, tailored workouts for all.Jason has equipped his gym with truly the greatest equipment on the island and for whichever type of training you're in, you'll get his undivided attention. Effective, engaging workouts, and never a boring day! On a personal level, you will be enamored with the rapport that Jason will build with you. He develops strong connections with his clients and is an exceptional conversationalist, listener, storyteller, and has an impressively diverse taste in music. Clean, classy, ambient lighting, outrageously tasty water...invest in yourself and GIVE JASON A CALL.Mahalo!!“

1533 Webster St, Alameda“I went in with a few muscle aches. I left feeling amazing and extremely relaxed. I tried a two hour massage for the first time (didn't know that was even available). I don't think I'll ever go back to a one hour or even one and a half hour massage. Wow. What a difference that extra half hour made. I got checked in and taken to my room very quickly. Then Shelly worked wonders, while respecting the parameters I put down on my check-in form and also occasionally checking in with me during the massage to make sure I was okay with what she was doing. I'll be back.“

1226 Park St, Alameda“I found it! I was looking for a boutique gym that had all the serious resistance training equipment and knowledgeable trainers, yet also some quieter spaces for individual workouts, and maybe some group classes. I wanted a certain “feel” that wasn’t meat-head centric, yet serious about working out. I wanted clean, inviting, and professional, yet kind and personable. Well, I got all of that and more at RISE. In additional to the weight training and group classes, they have several personal trainers to choose from, massage therapists, chiropractic care, sauna and cold plunge use. Their prices are very reasonable and the parking is easy. The front desk staff are always upbeat and kind. And if you’re lucky enough to see Diane, she’ll likely great you by name; every time. I did my homework, I looked at several gyms in the Bay Area, and I am happy to say I have found my place (and my personal trainer, Gernard, and massage therapist, Taylor - they are both amazing!!). I highly recommend RISE.“

“We booked a day with two massage therapists with Sowa/Kneon Wellness to treat our teachers and staff during Educator Appreciation Week. They were very helpful and patient with me as we had a lot of logistics to work out. I also found their rates to be very reasonable. Day of the massages, the therapists both arrived on time to set up. Both were very friendly and gave amazing chair massages. They made many teachers happy that day. It was a big hit! I know that if/when we book massages for our teachers again, we will be using Kneon Wellness.“
