“Tyler created something with my hair that I have NEVER thought was possible. I went in for bond building. He took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve and advised me that the detox would be a better fit as my hair was not absorbing water. He still allowed me to make the final choice. I also took a part of the curl coaching. His energy is so warm and me made me feel comfortable to ask all of the questions I had. I left feeling beautiful and have the confidence in my ability to recreate his work.

This place is 100% worth the cost and time it takes to book an appointment given the fill up fast.

“tl;dr Chelsea is a miracle worker ‍ I recently started my curly hair journey after years (basically my whole life lol) of putting it off as well as learning how to properly care for my hair. However, I truly didn't see its potential until I got my deva cut with Chelsea! I thought it would be YEARSSS before my hair would be anything like the hair inspo pics I saved on Pinterest but she did it in 2hrs She is super welcoming and friendly on top of being meticulous. Her knowledge on products and application shows in the way that she explained everything to my newbie self throughout the process, haha. She also was very receptive to any questions I had. After my appointment, she also texted the products she used for my reference. Parking was relatively easy despite it being a Friday afternoon for my appointment, good amount of street parking which was mostly metered. Def recommend“

“The studio is bright and welcoming. It’s comfy and clean. I loved that I was able to book my first appointment online and that their website is so easy to use. Great location with free parking so you don’t have to feed meters and it’s easy to pop downtown for lunch before or after an appointment.

Stylist: Kayla has worked wonders with my hair over the past few years. My color always comes out bright and vibrant. She listens and has been able to give me what I’ve requested since our first appointment. She is so kind and has taken wonderful care of me as our relationship and her knowledge of my hair has developed.“

“Meticulous, thorough and friendly! I went in for a curly cut for my wavy/curly hair, and Jennifer provided the best hair cut I've ever had. I had let her know that I was looking for more volume and to clean up the ends to make my scraggly hair more healthy. However, I didn't want to sacrifice too much length since I'm getting married in a few months. Jennifer listened to every request and delivered beautifully! She was very careful not to take more length than I was comfortable with, and detailed all of my options at every step of the cut. She and her assistant were incredibly detail oriented when it came to walking me through tips and tricks throughout the washing, conditioning and styling processes. Jennifer really goes the extra mile, adding lovely scalp treatments and even demonstrating day 2 refreshing tips on her own hair in vivo. The salon itself is adorable...plants galore and friendly stylists. I drove 40 minutes for this haircut, and I will do it again and again. SO happy to have found Jennifer!“

“I finally found THE BEST place to get your hair done in the Bay Area! Especially if you need balayage! I have seen Jessie several times now.. about 3 different times for balayage and 2 haircuts and I've been extremely happy each time. She is very skilled in her techniques and very meticulous, which is so important because my hair isn't damaged and I'm able to go several months before needing a touch up. On top of that, I just enjoy her and her salon so it's always a positive experience there. I won't go anywhere else as long as I live in California! Also the location is great and there is plenty of parking. Her prices are fair considering she is extremely skilled so it is worth every penny to me. “I went in with a few muscle aches. I left feeling amazing and extremely relaxed. I tried a two hour massage for the first time (didn't know that was even available). I don't think I'll ever go back to a one hour or even one and a half hour massage. Wow. What a difference that extra half hour made. I got checked in and taken to my room very quickly. Then Shelly worked wonders, while respecting the parameters I put down on my check-in form and also occasionally checking in with me during the massage to make sure I was okay with what she was doing.
