Had a men's cut. Dawn was pleasant and knowledgeable in her service. Haven't gone to the salon and would recommend the service. Judging the other students performing their services to clients -most seem happy with the service. Maybe back in 6 months if my hair grows.

This is my experience for anyone that is thinking about getting their haircut by a student.I’ve always gone to professional hairstylists as I’ve always gotten colour treatments and I didn’t trust a student to handle this. I didn’t do a colour treatment this time around so I decided to try a low budget haircut. VCC had the lowest rates for a student haircut so I went with them over other hairstyling schools.Pros:- service is ridiculously cheap. A shampoo, cut, and blow dry is only $10 + tax which honestly you can’t find anywhere.- even if the student doesn’t cut your hair to your standards, a supervisor is more than willing to help you get it to your liking...read full review

Been getting my hair done there for almost 10 years. The instructors are very experienced and the prices are more than reasonable. You do have to allow for more time than a typical appointment for hair services, but it's great overall.
