Our son had tried other martial arts schools before, having taken lessons as a young boy when we lived in Germany. However, most schools feature large classes with little attention to the individual's strengths, development and talents. As a result, our son was barely invested in his training.When we moved to Tucson, we looked for a school for our then 13-year-old that takes the training, the sport and the cultural aspects it represents seriously. I enrolled my boys, ages 8 & 9 years old, almost seven months ago with the goal to place them in an environment that will teach them discipline, self-confidence, respect, leadership, structure, adaptability, and release stress. My oldest son was facing challenging situations at school due to emotional, psychological & physical lack of skills he is now learning in this dojo. Sensei Langlais’ meets the leadership skills I was looking for as a role model and coach for my boys.
