Our son had tried other martial arts schools before, having taken lessons as a young boy when we lived in Germany. However, most schools feature large classes with little attention to the individual's strengths, development and talents. As a result, our son was barely invested in his training.When we moved to Tucson, we looked for a school for our then 13-year-old that takes the training, the sport and the cultural aspects it represents seriously. We have found this in Sensei Langlais. He values each student and coaches them to get stronger mentally and physically. This is another aspect where the Sensei goes beyond other schools. I enrolled my boys, ages 8 & 9 years old, almost seven months ago with the goal to place them in an environment that will teach them discipline, self-confidence, respect, leadership, structure, adaptability, and release stress. My oldest son was facing challenging situations at school due to emotional, psychological & physical lack of skills he is now learning in this dojo. Sensei Langlais’ meets the leadership skills I was looking for as a role model and coach for my boys.
