“My son has gone here for a while now. Originally I chose it because of the fantastic price. He gets 3 classes a week versus the others at twice the price and one class a week. The instructors are highly qualified and amazing at what they do. I enjoy that the instructors care about all of their students and they aren’t just there for a paycheck, but rather to share the art and skill of martial arts. I would not take my son anywhere else!“
“Instrutor Junior is a very talented capoerista, but one thing I appreciate is his humility and alegria when playing and teaching his art. He has been training since he was very little and it is very inspiring to see him play on the roda and be on his classes, learning not only the moves but the way of thinking, the music, practicing my portuguese, perfecting the technique and even learning little-by-little acrobatics I though impossible for me under his supervision. “We moved here from California. My daughter was in a modified ATA Taekwondo school there. We found out about Vail TKD through her elementary school. It was close so we decided to check it out. The instructors and students were very welcoming. The instructiors are very patient and you can tell that they have a passion for teaching the basics and will go out of their way to help everyone achieve their best. Very family oriented, whether the family participates in the class or just watches. The students have a great time, especially during sparring week where they get to use what they have learned with full contact! If it's your birthday, they will all sing you a song while you get to do a traditional activity. It's a secret, so you have to be there on your birthday to find out what it is. Master Lee is very humorous so you can guarantee to hear lots of laughter. The academy is extremely affordable. Probably the best prices in town which leaves room in your pocketbook for private lessons on the weekends or frequent tournaments. If you're considering getting your child or yourself into a martial art, you can't go wrong with Vail Taekwondo Academy.“
“This is the best workout and most fun I've had at a gym. It's hardcore and you train with people who take it seriously and really know what they're doing -- but even if you're not actively training for a fight, there's such a sense of comraderie. The coaches do such a good job of creating a culture where everyone is working to make each other better... at beating people up, lol. The price is a little steep, but understandable for the quality of training you get and the needs that must arise for a small business. Really hoping I can make it back there soon!“
