They helped to alleviate my anxiety as I am not a fan of dental offices in general. They were very patient and understanding when I needed to pause as I needed to take a break from whatever process I was in during the dental exam and cleaning. Office staff were very pleasant to deal with (one of the best I have seen in a while). I would highly recommend this dentist and his dental practice for anyone seeking dental services.“

“My son and I have been seeing Dr. Badie for over a year now. In January we discussed a treatment plan for several of my concerns. When I checked out, I was told to pay the total amount for the plan discussed, which was over $2,000. I thought this was odd as in the past with previous dentists, I pay as we do each procedure. I asked what if the costs aren’t as much after insurance or we don’t do all of the procedures (which we didn’t), and was reassured that I would just be refunded, as if it were an easy process. Once all of my treatment was completed, I had a credit of $728. When I called to get that refunded, I was told there was a $200 balance on my son’s account. Confused since I have paid upfront after each appointment, I decided to log into my insurance portal and view my EOB’s. After reviewing all of the EOB’s stating what I owe for services after insurance, I found over $500 in discrepancies for my son’s account. Not only should I not have a balance, based on the EOB’s, it looks as though I have over-paid. When I called to discuss the discrepancies to see where the difference was coming from, I was referred to a billing number for a woman that handles the accounts. She told me that she was not showing an account balance for my son’s account and that I did have a $728 credit. I explained the discrepancies I found when viewing our EOB’s of what I should have owed vs what I paid, and she said that she was going to do an audit on the account to figure it out and she would call me by Friday (this was Wednesday). It has now been over a month since I spoke with her. I have tried calling and leaving voicemails, and she has never returned my calls for an update. I have called Dr. Badie’s office every week for the past month explaining that I can’t get a hold of anyone in billing and just want my refund and an update. The office doesn’t do billing so I’m told each week that they will have billing reach out to me, and she never does. I’m still being told from the office that my son’s account shows a $200 balance despite billing telling me that he has no balance because insurance had paid out. It’s just been a nightmare since their billing lady is out of state. I have all of my EOB’s printed and can’t even take them up there to review with someone. Getting my credit refunded has been a nightmare, and I therefore cancelled all future appointments and notified the office that we will not reschedule until this is resolved. I was hoping to have it resolved by now, but had to find a new dentist to schedule my son’s cleaning and check-up with since I still can’t get an answer and have gotten nowhere calling every week. With the holidays approaching, and everything being expensive, I would really like my refund. So be cautious if you pay up front. I would try my best to just pay for procedures as you go.UPDATE: Dr. Badie personally reached out to me and is issuing the refund immediately after being made aware of the situation. He has stated that he is moving billing back into the office so patients will have someone in the office to speak with, and even went as far as to say that I am free to call him personally if we ever encounter an issue like this again. He definitely cares about his patients and made that very clear during our conversation. We will be resuming our services as we really do like Dr. Badie and his staff and have had great experiences here.“
