“We were looking for a New Veterinarian Office that seemed to care about us & our fur babies. Saw a lot of post about Peoria Animal Hospital & gave them a call to schedule one of our babies in. Was a little concerned about no reminders of a appt ( they said they called but didn’t ) but day of appt what a great visit & learned a lot. Thank you to the Vets wife understanding our dog was not dog friendly to other dogs ( even though we have two others at home) & she got us to a room right away, I was struggling.The Veterinarian was amazing we loved his insight, knowledge & experience. We learned a lot & thought he took the right time to address all our concerns & courses of treatment available, no pressure.We will start slowly with things he suggested since we know our boys system & see what is exactly working & give it time & adjust.It was refreshing a Veterinarian like that have not seen sinceDr Charlie Sink since we been here in Arizona.The Tech was amazing since my boy was a little aggressive to other dogs she was able to take my credit card & check us out so we could slide out the side door to avoid other dogs, was nice how they worked with us.We will be back soon & move our other babies over to them as well just wish they do a military discount 10% helps with 3 dogs but Great Veterinarian“

“They are our go to for our pets care. Exceptional service here and always recommend.It's a smaller practice so they can be busy but take great care of your fur babies. We had lost one pet 2 months ago. My wife and I were very heart broken and they let us spend time with our Bobo before getting him cremated.The staff was amazing and very caring. We received a condolence card from them in the mail. He came back home to us in a beautiful chest and the clay pawprint is beautiful.Again thank you all for your compassion and services you provide.“

“I have had problems not being able to get my dog in to cardiologist for echocardiogram because they just aren't taking appts so after taking him back to my vet they mentioned he probably needs trachea cleansing to fix his issue but since his x-rays showed enlarged heart and some other things when I told vet I couldn't get him in they said they same issues with internal medicine vets and gave my dog medicine that was working and no longer helping. I looked up Internist and was desperate to get help for my dog so I called this place and the receptionist was sooo helpful and finally gave me the information I needed to and now I finally have some hope of and a starting place to get him in for the care he needs. I called so many places that just weren't helpful or just referred me to same cardiologist that wasn't accepting patients but the receptionist here listened to me so when I explained I needed procedure that the vet recommended and wld have to do with internist she explained the process and told me what to do so I could have my vet schedule my dog for an appt to fix the real problem . He will need to have echocardiogram done eventually when they start accepting patients again but that wasn't going to fix the problem my dog is having with clearing his throat and after 6 months of having to watch his symptoms getting worse all it took was a phone call to this place for me to get the answers I needed and finally I am relieved to find someone took the time to listen to me and now I can have my vet set up an appt with them to clean out his throat which should eliminate his stress significantly until we can find out and fix issues with his heart. I called 20 or so other places before here and every one just told me I needed t I call cardiologist because they didn't bother to listen to me when I said he needed trachea cleaning and I am so greatful that this one did so I'm scheduling appt to with my vet right away to have that done.“

They did take a few days longer to call me back but the lady I spoke with was very kind, patient, and polite while answering my hundreds of questions. The only reason they are not my new vet is because they are the same price or higher as my current vet. I will keep their contact info for emergencies.“
“My very old cat suddenly became hopelessly sick and needed euthanasia when I wasn’t able to drive to my vet due to chemotherapy reactions. Dr. Martin was very kind, with my cat and me and the whole thing was peaceful as it could be.“

“We've been coming to Acoma for 5 years, ever since my husband did a walk in appointment for our suddenly critically ill dog. Dr. Eells treated my husband and our dog with kindness and compassion. The team at Acoma have helped us with two end of life appointments and referred us to an in-home euthanasia vet during COVID when our elderly dog was actively dying and we had a newborn. I have always felt heard, had my questions answered, and been able to talk through all the options and ask for Dr. Eells' opinion on what course of action to take. We feel as though she has always given us moderate options and have never felt forced into a treatment or diagnostic test that wasn't necessary. The staff are kind, friendly, they recognize and know us by name and are always patient when I have to bring my kids. I know it's hard to be treating pets and talking to owners while their kids are interrupting but everyone has always been really patient with us. It has been really hard since the other vets retired and sometimes getting an appointment is a challenge but we're with Acoma for the long haul! Today, October 16, we rushed our 5 year old dog into the office 5 minutes after they opened because she had been vomiting blood over the weekend. We tried AVECCC and it wasn't a good experience for us. Acoma was able to fit us in as walk ins right away, we did X-rays and got medications and a treatment plan in an hour. It was far more affordable, too. I asked questions about what to look for, when to come back if needed, etc and feel good about bringing our dog home. If you do have to go as a walk in, try to go early and be prepared to wait but they will do their best to see you next a timely manner. Thank you for 5 years of compassionate care of our critters and us humans!“
“My general veterinarian referred me to try this place after a year of my dog having skin issues. From the moment I called, I could tell this place would have a very friendly atmosphere. While there, I felt that the staff were genuinely interested in what I had to say about my concerns. The veterinarian was also extremely thorough and knowledgeable during her exam of my dog. My dog has been on their recommended treatment for a little over a week now, and he has been doing so much better. I’m incredibly thankful to the staff for their support and help treating my dog.“
