“This rave review is shamefully overdue. In August 2023, a couple of days before a convention, I washed a satin Fairy Godmother costume which had one piece (a large bow) that needed to be air-dried rather than put into the dryer, due to the danger of melting hot glue. I was unfortunately too tired to remember that at the time, and soon discovered that the hot glue had melted all over the bow (though thankfully not the rest of the costume). I cursed. I cried. I frantically googled various tips for removing hot glue from fabric. Nothing worked. I decided to try the professionals, though given my short time frame, I wasn't hopeful. Louie's Ultra Cleaners had the best reviews of any cleaner on my side of town, so I gave them a go.

They exceeded my wildest expectations in every possible way. They were kind, sympathetic, and told me to wait while they checked to see if the glue could be removed. Amazingly, *while I waited for only a few minutes,* a man treated the bow and then handed it back to me as good as new! Not only that, he refused to accept any money for it. He saved me from the consequences of my own stupidity as if *he* was the Fairy Godmother. I almost cried all over again, this time in gratitude. Louie's Ultra Cleaners will be my go-to cleaner forevermore. This month, I plan to try their alterations service, which reminded me to finally leave this review! Give them a try -- you won't regret it. Tell them the Fairy Godmother sent you.“

“I just started using this place and they are awesome! Little expensive but the Great service kind of makes up for it.“

“They officially close at 11:00 pm BUT there’s a sign on the door that says the last wash is at 9:30pm. So don’t show up at 9:40 thinking “it’s only 10 minutes they’ll still let me in” because they won’t the workers are strict about that. If you’re still there after 9:30pm waiting for your load to finish washing they’ll let you dry and fold your clothes until 11:00pm. Workers are nice and place is clean.“

“I arrived 10 minutes before closing time without knowing their schedule. However, the employee at the front desk was nice and did not rush me. She answered most of the questions I asked and took my coat. I had a long coat to get cleaned, and I came to pick it up after two days, which I think is fast service. The coat was cleaner than when I dropped it off; however, they did not remove the pet hair. When I asked if anything else could be done, the employee kindly took the coat again and said she would ask for a redo, focusing on the pet hair. I was not charged extra, and I came back within two days to pick it up. There are still a few hairs, but it was a much better improvement from the time I dropped it off. I recommend this place. My service was $15, but I'm not sure if that is a good price because I'm not sure how much work a "dry clean" entails. Nonetheless, I'm glad I didn't have to pay much money on my new "vintage" clothing.“

“I thought that they did a good job. However, I felt that they were pricey. It was $18 and some change to dry clean and press three dress shirts. It was another $1 per shirt for heavy starch! I think that I can do better.“
