“Knowledgeable vets at fair prices. Theyve taken care of my dogs for ten plus years now.“
“They were very compassionate when we had to bring our elderly dog in for end of life care.“
“We have been taking our pets to this facility since the doors opened in the early ‘90s, and we will continue to do so because the doctors and staff are committed to doing their best to preserve the health and well being of their “patients”.
Here you will find professional, competent, and empathetic staff members.
They are the best in our opinion!“
“There is nothing I can say again that I haven't said 100 times. Everyone here is truly professionalism at its finest. Kind, gentle, loving, and to say the least, knowledgeable. There IS no room for improvement.“
“I travel to a bit to get to Acoma because they're the best. They really care about the pets, no matter how naughty they might be! All the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The front office is always friendly and helpful. And the doctors? I've never been more confident in my pets' care. I literally LOVE any doctor that I've seen there. Over the years my family has owned A LOT of dogs (usually 4+ at any given time), and after finding Acoma, I'll never go anywhere else. I'm always confident in their work and opinions.I hand my babies off to the techs without another thought, because they're always so good with them, even our snappers!“
“When we lived in the Phoenix area we were fortunate to find this wonderful Vet Clinic. Dr. Britez and the entire staff were alway kind and friendly. We have an elderly lab and a younger one as well and they loved coming into the office. Thank you Pet Life for taking care of us!“
“Nothing but great experiences at Desert Sky animal hospital with Dr. Blackwell. She is the most kind and caring Doctor for both our dogs and us as pet owners, we are very appreciative.“
“My dog had Calcinosis circumscripta - with a large mass on her front left leg. I went to three different Vets for consultation. I felt very uneasy with the one of the vets. By far, I felt the most comfortable with CARE Surgery. Immediately upon arrival, the staff welcomed us right away to a room (I had waited 45 minutes at the first consultation of another Vet). The room had my dog's name on a chalkboard already. Specifically, I was told Dr MaryAnn Radlinsky is a Soft Tissue Specialist. Dr. Radlinsky seemed to know this condition of my dog well and confident she can perform surgery without having to dig in too deep into the tissue. I was worried about recovery time but the Dr did such a phenomenal job, that the recovery was speedy and not as tedious as I was told by other Vets. CARE by far exceeds my expectation. The surgery cost winded up being lower than what they initially quoted (The other Vet I felt they were gauging with the price). I would highly recommend CARE. Their personal touch and expertise really put me at ease!“
“We've been coming to Acoma for 5 years, ever since my husband did a walk in appointment for our suddenly critically ill dog. Dr. Eells treated my husband and our dog with kindness and compassion. The team at Acoma have helped us with two end of life appointments and referred us to an in-home euthanasia vet during COVID when our elderly dog was actively dying and we had a newborn. I have always felt heard, had my questions answered, and been able to talk through all the options and ask for Dr. Eells' opinion on what course of action to take. We feel as though she has always given us moderate options and have never felt forced into a treatment or diagnostic test that wasn't necessary. The staff are kind, friendly, they recognize and know us by name and are always patient when I have to bring my kids. I know it's hard to be treating pets and talking to owners while their kids are interrupting but everyone has always been really patient with us. It has been really hard since the other vets retired and sometimes getting an appointment is a challenge but we're with Acoma for the long haul! Today, October 16, we rushed our 5 year old dog into the office 5 minutes after they opened because she had been vomiting blood over the weekend. We tried AVECCC and it wasn't a good experience for us. Acoma was able to fit us in as walk ins right away, we did X-rays and got medications and a treatment plan in an hour. It was far more affordable, too. I asked questions about what to look for, when to come back if needed, etc and feel good about bringing our dog home. If you do have to go as a walk in, try to go early and be prepared to wait but they will do their best to see you next a timely manner. Thank you for 5 years of compassionate care of our critters and us humans!“
“We have used Acoma Grooming for Oliver and he looks so cute when they finish. Professional cuts, cost normal and safe drop off and pick up. Love them!“
“I have been going to 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital for over 20 years. My whole family goes there with all of our fur babies and each one receives excellent care. The staff and Dr. Strylie and Dr. Darmofal are gentle, caring and honest. It's pricey but worth the peace of mind.“
“This place is amazing! The staff there are so friendly. They’re courteous to customers. They are so loving and gentle with your fur babies. Our dog Molly was very comfortable with the staff. And she is now tucked in sleeping at home. If you need an amazing vet. Take your babies here! Highly recommended! No 5 stars! I give this place 10 stars!“
“Sun valley hope it’s a great place to take your four legged family members. I first dealt with them when I had to take my 13yr old dog to be helped to go to rest asleep , the vet and staff gave me time to be with him while he fell asleep and even cried with me. They made a paw print for my family to remember him by. I just took my other 2 ,4 legged kids to get vaccinated and they called me 24 hours later just to check in on them to make sure they were doing fine after the vaccines. Sun valley hope hospital will be our place to go for all of our 4 legged kids needs. P.S. they are budget friendly and inexpensive as well as loving our 4 legged children.“
