“Price was in the middle, not the most expensive or the cheapest bid. Quality of work outstanding, especially Domingo and the gentleman he normally works with. Cons: Communication with owner could be improved. When workers will arrive and extra charges that owner knows will come up in the job but doesn’t let you know about till you are part way through the job and committed. It would be nice to know up front about the extra charges. Overall happy with the job and people. I would use again but next time slow down and really make sure I ask a lot of questions so not surprised with extra charges. I.e. what other charges will need to be paid that are common in a job like this?“

“We really loved what Jeff did with our guest bathroom shower. We had issues with the water leaking through the door due to the shower head in the wrong location. The new shower has been upgraded and no more leaking. After finishing the guest shower he remodeled our master bath and shower. We had several leaks in the shower and the bathtub did not have access panel. We decided to remodel both of them. I am so glad we did. It came out great. We love it! “We hired Honor Contracting after a water leak damaged a significant portion of our downstairs bathroom and kitchen area. Based on several factors we were able to complete the downstairs repairs and decided to update our master bathroom shower. We worked with Honor Contracting and specifically Jeremy to get everything ordered, designed and budgeted. Jeremy was very helpful, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. If you’re going to do any projects, please ask for him.

The final projects came out great. Everything looks new and updated, and the updated shower is 1000 times better than the original builder grade scenario. Unfortunately, I had to give 4 stars because of the amount of times Honor Contracting’s sub contractors had to come back and fix, replace, or redo several parts of the job. The first time was partially a miscommunication between Honor Contracting and their sub contractors. The three other return trips however were due to poor craftsmanship and a lack of pride in the overall work. This is not a knock on Honor Contracting themselves necessarily, as they were very apologetic, and responsive to our complaints and rectified the issues every time within a timely manner. But the sub contractors I feel were less than up to the quality of what Honor Contracting usually portrays.

The only saving grace was that we were out of town every time they had to come and fix something, because having a 9 month old baby who needs naps can be quite disruptive with construction workers constantly coming back to fix mistakes.

There is a one year warranty on the work completed, so that’s a plus, but unfortunately we had to call them back several times within the first few months as mentioned above.

Overall, I would recommend Honor Contracting and I will consider using them again for additional projects. They are professional, take ownership if a mistake is made and more importantly respond with rectifications as soon as possible. They have a great reputation and it shows in their customer service. The last time they were out they apologized and gave us a restaurant gift card which was totally unnecessary but very much appreciated.“

“I got Enrique's number from a friend who had his driveway done by Ramos Pavers a few years ago and after lots of rain and continually parking big trucks on it, there is not one shifted paver or low spot or gap.I did a lot of research trying to find the cheapest place (guys on offer up mostly assuring me they do good work) but eventually common sense reminded me that cheap usually means you will regret it eventually and by the time you regret it the people who installed it wont be around.I hired him and he did pavers at my sisters house and my house.His crew does fantastic work and very fast. He even had to do some re-grading and that was spot on also without any added surprise costs.I would imagine there are less expensive places out there but when water pools in certain areas and pavers sink and look sloppy you will wish you hadn't save a couple of bucks per square foot.“
