“We were having a new home built and I hired Birmingham Landscape Design to design my front and side beds, as well as put in a retaining wall and dry river bed. The beds have chopstone lining and an espalier on the side elevation. I could not be more pleased with the way it turned out! Working with Karen was wonderful - she helped bring my vision to life and I cannot wait to see my plants in bloom in the spring! She helped me choose plants that worked for my natural sunlight and that would be deer resistant. I appreciate that she, Andy, and the owner, Rick, visited the site multiple times throughout the project to make sure everything looked just the way it had been drawn on the plan. Karen had the crew make a few changes along the way when she wanted something to look differently. I was grateful she was monitoring quality control so that I didn't have to. “I cannot say enough great things about Richter Landscaping! After several years of planning and different contractor interviews we selected John Richter and his team during COVID 2020. John came out with Project Leader Andrew and spent invaluable time going over the plans and gave us more great ideas before we started. They told us it should take 2 months but we were not in a hurry knowing how some other companies delivered on promises. The Foreman ADOLPHO was amazing with his expertise and knowledge being able to make small changes as we progressed. Even with Hurricane Zeta coming thru and knocking down a huge red oak which required very large crane to remove, Richter finished the project in 2 months. We had a challenging sloping terrain to deal with but as you see the pictures before and after it’s an amazing project. We get comments from friends who say, “this project is like something out of Southern Gardens!”We highly recommend John and the Richter team! Thank you John!“
“I've tried calling to talk to someone and phone rings off hook. Please have your guys park their long truck in the parking adjacent to American Deli (where they are visiting) instead of front of bldg and taking up 6 parking spots for an entire hour every day. It leaves not spots open for our customers.“
