First Class all the way. I decided to go with Lux vs. Green Fox - even though the windows were about 50% more. I am delighted. The sales rep, Blair Robichaud, was very thorough and professional. The estimate covered every single detail. Blair even told me how to clean one of my window sashes - instead of replacing that window as well. The delivery and installation were as promised. From getting a quote to receiving an installation date was reasonably straightforward and fast The two gentlemen who removed our old windows and installed our new windows were polite and professional, they answered any questions we had and left us property clean.
Would recommend Lux Windows
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Jacquelyn Zelonka is our Sales Consultant, which describes her perfectly. She has many years experience in this industry and gave us great advice on what would work best as replacement windows. We had 18 windows, the front door and the patio door replaced. We also added 3 new egress windows in our basement. We hadn't realized how lousy our previous windows were until the new ones were installed. We live on a drive and could hear cars passing, but the new windows cut the sound level way down. Jacquelyn helped us find a person for our permits and kept us updated regularly as to when the work would start and be completed. Michael was the project leader who was very impressive. He kept us both looped in on how the project was going. He and his crew were super professional as were the concrete cutters for the egress windows. 150% satisfied with our choice of Lux Windows. They also kept the dust near their work areas negligible.
We did initially have a second window company come in to quote but to say that I was less than impressed with the bullying sales tactics of said company (and they quoted higher) would be an understatement. Beware of salesmen showing you a map of all your neighbours that have contracted said company.
I am very thankful that I did not shy away from Lux Windows, which sounds very high end, but were very reasonably priced for quality windows. I have recommended them to a few people and will continue to do so.
