For background I have been a construction project manager for over $50M of work. We agreed to Time and Material work for wood siding installation. After 4 days of work I received an invoice from Maldonado for $9,800. Due to lack of productivity I had to ask him to stop work there. The next crew I hired gave me an invoice for 2 men after 1 day for $960. That crew got more done for $960 than Maldonado did for $9,800. Further, the workers installed the siding with 1" variation which is well beyond the accepted tolerance of 1/4" and readily visible to the naked eye.
