From May-Dec 2020 this contractor performed a miracle on my cabin that is on a forested mountaintop. Getting an accurate estimate and designing a plan to rescue my place was timely and accurate. The block pier foundation was collapsing and my place was about to literally slide off the mountain. We decided to stabilize the structure by installing a temporary support system underneath the crawlspace. I had decided that instead of making new piers, we would dig out the crawlspace and install a real basement with a block foundation. Our experience with JC Smith has been very positive. Our meeting to discuss the job with the owner was professional, informative, and prompt. The Scope Of Work and estimate were very detailed and all our questions have been addressed in a timely manner. The design has been thoughtfully and thoroughly presented, and they have been very open and agreeable to any and all changes as we proceed with our remodel job.
