I received a quote from J&J for $12,000. Based on the unit I needed and the limited work involved, everything I found online suggested that price was extremely high. After doing some research, I found that Appalachian had the most consistently positive reviews—especially from customers who weren’t just prompted to leave good feedback.
I reached out to them for a second opinion, and for the same unit and scope of work, they quoted me several thousand less. AJ was incredibly responsive, worked around my schedule, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.
5 years ago, Willie Barb from Appalachian Heating and Air installed two units and air handlers in our new home. He installed the EZTrap shut off on our condensing lines as well as pan water guard sensors. Both worked great! They saved us thousands of $ in damage and headache. Will be asking them to bid on a future install on a different home reno and I will be asking for Willie Barb!
