On July 13, 2024 the VFW of Clarksburg WV and US Navy helped properly burry my late Father In law Gary A McNemar, Sr. It was just 11 months after his true passing that we were able to find the closure we needed and give him the respect he deserved.
You see my husband is his only child and Gary Sr did not have a proper military burial UNTIL the local VFW stepped forward and helped! The funeral home lied and did not ask for the VFW's assistance. Yet they are literally within walking distance of the front door!
I have always appreciated our Veterans but I have a new respect for the gentleman and lady who came to show respect to a fallen member they didn't know, played...read full review
